Jean (aka Jeanie, Jeannie)
Jean is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through e-mail, which means he does not have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new Genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a Genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie in a bottle should look like. Due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, it turned him into a busty, young, blonde woman.

Neil Anton
A junior engineer who works for a small engineering firm in Cocoa Beach, which focuses mostly on NASA projects. Neil is Jean’s best friend. When Jean was turned into a genie, Neil somehow became Jean’s master.

Jean’s girlfriend. Belle has no idea that Jeanie and Jean are the same person. She was told Jean went to the middle east, and Jeanie is Jean’s Cousin.

After releasing Araceli from imprisonment within her bottle, Caley became her Mistress.

Agent Anderson
Agent Anderson is a Homeland Security agent. During an investigation of international intelligence, he arrested Natalie from the Engineer’s conference in Las Vegas and brought her in for questioning.
While rescuing Natalie from Homeland Security, Jean got revenge by turning Agent Anderson into a woman.
Since then, Agent Anderson requested a transfer from Las Vegas to Orlando, which oversees Port Canaveral and Orlando International Airport’s Homeland Security coverage.

Genies
Lord Guano
Lord Guano is a Genie Supervisor, and is not bound to any master. He is in charge of training and making sure young genies behave. “Guano” is his lord name, while his given name is Alwatwat (though his mother calls him “Atty”).

Araceli
A blue genie of the bottle. Araceli was temporary assigned to be Neil’s genie while Jean was in Genie training.
She is Lord Guano’s niece and has eyes on becoming Neil’s genie.
Before being released to serve Neil. Araceli has been trapped in her bottle in the ocean for over 100 years. Araceli has recently been released from her bottle by Rodge’s niece Caley.

Kazom
A former Genie Lord, Kazom is a 3000+ year old Genie who exists in the form of a cat. Kazom was tasked to train Jean to be a proper Genie. Melvin is Kazom’s master.
Kazom appears in Melvin Chronicles as Melvin’s Genie. In order to conserve power and thereby extend his life, Kazom does as little magic as possible. He takes the form of a cat and mostly just lays around Melvin’s Room.

Rouyaa (aka Ms Ray Eden)
Rouyaa, genie of the bottle (before Jean). She and her bottle belonged to Oba Adolo before he traded her bottle to a foreigner. The foreigner eventually moved to the Americas in the 1800s. Her bottle was later discovered by Andy and Sid in the 1930s while they were going though Andy’s late uncle’s belongings.
Ray is now Jean’s elderly next door neighbor. Ms Eden is a depowered, banished genie. Essentially she has all the power and life span of a normal human. Very few know of her past as a genie.

Lahab (aka Haji’s First)
As Haji’s First, Lahab is among the most respected of genies. She oversees Haji’s Harem and is the den mother to all of them. Lahab is also a rare “Jann” type genie, meaning her natural form is that of an elemental (fire, in Lahab’s case). Genies whose natural forms resemble humans are known as “Si’lat”.

Jehane (aka Jeannie II)
Jeannie (II) is another human turned genie by a vacant totem, originally a young orphan girl in 1970s Germany. Upon picking up and uncorking a vacant genie bottle, Jehane became the new magically endowed occupant. Being a fan of a well known TV show, she bares a striking resemblance to Jean (Barbara Eden style genie).

Alya
Alya is a young genie. She’s energentic, cheerful, and eager to please. She and Jean both took part in a Genie ceremony where the youngest adult genies traditionally participate.

Asha
Asha is a senior genie who resides in LA by masquerading as a human pop star. Upon the death of her last master, who never asked for his final wish from Asha and was buried with her bottle, Haji granted Asha permission to live in the human world, instead of requiring her to return to her bottle.

Clarence aka Tiffany aka Red Thornton
Melvin’s other nerdy friend. This character was magically changed into a girl by Jean while she was doing her Genie training, and Jean forgot to fix her before returning to Cocoa Beach. After being transformed, her parents sent Red off to a all-girl private school. Her father is a producer, and set her up as a model for a new character in her and Melvin’s favorite game, War Mallet.

General Lee
An orange 1969 Dodge Charger driven by Bo and Luke Duke. Often seen jumping over streams, lakes, ravines, construction workers, and anything else jump-able.
