Huh. Seems that Jeanie created a significantly less curvy body for Rouyaa’s memories to inhabit. Subconscious jealousy, perhaps? 🙂
And what happened to Neil?
Maybe with Jeans vast magic he is giving Rouyaa and Andy a couple more weeks together so it won’t be goodbye just yet.
Could be real cloned bodies that their minds have been moved into, Jeanie is much younger than most genies and may be more likely to be thinking long term even if she was not consciously thinking about it. Because, who would put someone into a temp body when you don’t want them to die.
Someone who didn’t know how blank bodies worked, and/or someone who wanted time to think of something better.
Kazom told Jeanie that Rouyaa would fade within days, so even a few weeks is an improvement, plus Rouyaa and Andy get some autonomy this way. This also gives time for Rouyaa and Andy to remember to visit Rouyaa’s apartment again.
Neil presumably went unconscious because of the same “magical lobotomy” that Jeanie is suffering through.
My guess is that Jeanie is “insanely powerful” right now, and so the blank bodies will last considerably longer than Rouyaa could imagine… and maybe drain Jeanie’s power back down to more or less normal, so it’s no longer a plot point to worry about.
That’s what I was thinking.
I’d rather she not get her power drained, to be honest.
Okay, this isn’t as bad as I thought it would be.
I think Neil might be a vegetable… if that ‘hurt’ a genie who knows what it would do to puny chemical mortal brains.
Are we all just going to forget that Rouyaa is alive and trapped in a whiskey bottle downstairs?
Rouyaa’s bottle is back in Jean’s old apartment building, not at Neil’s place. I don’t understand why someone else hasn’t found her, but Jeanie and Neil have never been back since Blue got blasted.

What is Rouyaa going to do when she figures out that the cat is the one who took away he powers and that Jeanie is the new Blue Djinn that locked her into a wine bottle. Need to find that bottle. Kasom, Robbie the robot said that there aare 14 and one half ways to skin a cat. Rouyaa might just try all of them but what is a half way to skin the cat?
Kazom didn’t take her powers and memories, Haji did. She’s aware that Jeanie’s body housed The Blue Djinn.
Not a problem. There are always more bodies out there than there are minds. People with no brain-activity; accident or a major cerebral stroke. People who are awake and aware but who’d rather not be; incurable pain or organ-failure, and the law won’t let them die as they’d prefer.
Many, if able to make a conscious choice, would opt to help others. My driver’s licence lists me as an organ donor. Why not? If I’m not not using the body… Whatever parts cannot aid others directly will go to medical schools to train doctors.
Brain and mind transplants (which are not quite the same thing) aren’t possible today and may never be. Not without magic. Surely Rouyaa and her boyfriend wouldn’t mind inhabiting “second hand” bodies, particularly if Jeanie restored them to A-one condition before “slotting” them in.
A whole-body transplant is just donating all of your organs to the same recipient at once.

I think Robert that body is a teenage one hence the lack of curves, Jeanie just gave her a whole new lifetime.
Andy also… if this works out and they don’t fade, they have an opportunity to live full lives.
