It sounds like Buck doesn’t know what he is talking about. If it is a SLS launch, then that is indeed a moon mission built out of Shuttle parts, but that ia the closest that he could get to an “Apollo Shuttle”.
I think he’s just worried that he’d be too busy to go see the shuttle display at Kennedy Space Center, since he’d be working on fixing the drone.

Asha is a genie disguised as a pop star but we get your point. but I suspect the combination of “Blue-G Energy drink” and “Apollo Space Shuttle” are hints that Asha isn’t the only genie in disguise. Or they could be total red herrings. Take your pick.
Maybe the name will remind Rouyaa of what they are supposed to be doing. Not that they seem concerned about it.

Wait…Apollo shuttle? New program?
Either the JB timeline is different than the current timeline (which is odd because the COVID mask Natalie was wearing was certainly a current event), or Rouyaa inadvertently took them both back in time to when Apollo was still an active program. It’s also possible that Buck doesn’t really know what he’s talking about.

Oops, that’s my bad. It’s supposed to be the Atlantis Space Shuttle. I got mixed up between the Atlantis Shuttle and Apollo Space program. I’ve asked Robert to fix it when he gets a moment
Atlantis was retired in 2011, significantly before Covid. Maybe it should be the SpaceX Falcon or something in the near future like Artemis I.
Or is this a time jump?
Artemis I is in the near-past to us—it launched a few months ago as the unmanned circumlunar test. Artemis II will be the crewed circumlunar test, and then Artemis III will be the first NASA crewed landing since Apollo 17.
Atlantis would be a surprise to Andy only because it’s a new orbiter to him. He really wouldn’t be surprised that there were additional orbiters built after the ones that he remembered. What WOULD surprise him is that after more than forty years, a newer spacecraft design has not yet replaced the 1970s Shittle design.

Ah, now that makes sense. They’re going to fly their little drone inside the museum and vid the display. Without a museum reference I think we all assumed that Buck was talking about a launch.

They ARE bigger on the inside than the outside (or the genies shrink), but not big enough.
There’s probably more connections between the Time Lords and Genies than we humans realize.

There is a lot to play with in a body swap scenario
I think I’m still wondering how these two characters fit in, especially with the 18-hour clock ticking down. Jeanie/Rouyaa and Neil/Andy seem to be distracted from their quest as explained by Kazom.
I wonder if Rouyaa is comparing the interior volume of the van with the vans available in the 70’s. Modern vans have a noticeable increase in volume compared to older vans. Rouyaa and Andy having their memories taken away at the end of the 70’s means they should remember the Vannin’ craze that was huge at that time. Maybe they knew people that were into that scene.
(sidenote – I wonder how a pic of Jeanie would look on the side of a van.)

I’m probably dating myself with this question. And I’ll admit this is a long shot which likely is just a coincidence, but did CD pull Buck’s name from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century? Or was it more that “Buck” hadn’t been used for another character and it sounded good?

Thank you for the info. Personally, I’ve never heard of Eamon and Bec, but my YT algorithm is probably tweaked significantly different from lots of other people: woodworking, cycling, AI, electrical engineering, Cities: Skylines, etc, etc….
