More likely they’ll think she’s from way out in the boonies where they barely have internet at all.
I dislike them. I’m not really big on that type of Youtube content in general so I find them to be…annoying. Hopefully they have some good redeeming qualities.
You saw two characters and decided to dislike them, not because of anything they’ve done, but because they’re members of a group you find annoying but that doesn’t affect you in any way beyond maybe some inconvenience. And presumably you will continue to dislike them unless they show “good redeeming qualities.” Did I misrepresent anything here?
If they’re like typical ‘Lifestyle’ Youtubers who fake their personalities, stage everything and are obnoxious? And if they have nothing else to their personalities? Then yeah, probably won’t like them.
And also? These are fictional characters and not real people, there’s no reason for you to immediately jump on a sword trying to defend them. People are allowed to dislike things for their own reasons.
Can making one comment to a person asking for clarification be considered jumping on a sword now?

So most likely, it started as fun, but now they get paid
Probably the former, and maybe with a slight correction on the latter. Possibly many thousands of people watch, resulting in ad revenue, and many of them may also sponsor them. But it’s unlikely to be someone paying them ^_^
Foreshadowed: One of Buck & Emi’s video streams will show people or a clue relating to their situation. But will it be noticed, or will Rouyaa distract Andy once again?
Probably when they turn the camera on Rouyaa/Jeannie and all it shows is a lens flare.
Now here’s a thought: I know a genie can’t be filmed, but what about their clothes?

Well, the blown-out part is pretty big, but it does seem like a leg or sleeve might be visible. So people might just chalk it up to being in a sunny spot… if it weren’t continuous throughout the video!

Vimmy is correct, I loosely based these two characters from on Eamon and Bec’s YT channel.
I actually messaged Eamon and Bec to see if they were interested in being the characters Ray and Andy met, but never got a reply back (also short after messaging them, they announced that they were giving up Van-life, so I didn’t bother following up and decided to make parady characters instead.).
Something tells me Buck and Em may end up body swapping by the end of this arc. Think of the Youtube views!
