Jeanie Bottle 450
Oct 2nd Update:
CD injured his hand over the weekend. It’s probably not very bad, but I wouldn’t count on a new JB coming out this week.

You always know just what to say to piss off someone, don’t ya Jean?
It’s the gift that I hope will keep on giving …. black eyes.
can’t say she didn’t deserve it.
You have to admire the Haji’s choice of clothing for the female genies… ^^;;
Now we just need a pic of the entire outfit, top and bottom.
I’ll second that! 🙂
If I was in Jeanie’s position I’d have a complete shit-fit
Jeanie’s expression and hand positions in the last frame are kinda softcore. “Ooh, Ooh! OOH! Please master not so…OW!”
But then Araceli is tugging those strings so hard she’s actually made the right and left hand ties pass through each other.
I’m thinking a wardrobe malfunction during the ceremony. I’m also thinking Haji is a D-O-G. That is, a Dirty Old Genie.
Said malfunction caused by sabotage by Araceli.
Assuming that there is a malfunction in her wardrobe, which I think could happen and would probably be a result of Araceli tightening Jeanie straps too much. It would be a good time for Jeanie hair to come down over her breast to cover the malfunctioning wardrobe when her breast come out un-expectantly.
Okay, you can’t say that Jeannie didn’t bring that one on herself. Poetic justice, I’d say.
What Jean has brought on himself has not yet arrived in full measure. It’s something to look forward to, really.
I bet we are going to have a wardrobe malfunction next week and cd rudd will put a censor box or bler it
Wow, what is going on with that skirt thingy? Does it light up like Peter Gabriel’s light bulb suit? (I heard that thing shocked him.)
Whatever, Jeanie once again demonstrates her utter selfishness, bordering on sociopathy. It’s not Araceli’s fault, Jean, and attacking her was a coward move.
It wasn’t like Araceli could just start a cat fight there, with all the big-shot genies nearby to intervene. Besides, what Jean said there to her was uncalled for; Araceli is simply paying back the “comment” in kind.
“Uncalled for” indeed. Araceli could be a friend and guide, and Jeanie does nothing but make her into a personal enemy.
Cough, splutter, choke . . .
I’m sorry have we been reading the same comic? Jeanie literally freed Aracali from being stuck at the bottom of the ocean and her response was “I”m going to steal your master and trap you in your bottle for all eternity mwhahaahah.” Araceli has done NOTHING to indicate she’d ever be a friend or guide. I admit I wouldn’t make the kind of comments Jeanie made her but by this point I wouldn’t trust Araceli as far as I could throw her.
Not to mention Araceli has already badly traumatised Jeanie once by sealing her in her bottle and there have been those indication this might not be Jeanie or at least a Jeanie not fully in control.
@ Senko: Now…. Jean didn’t free Araceli, one of the higher-ranking genies did, so she could instruct her.
She did not set Jean up to get trapped in her bottle, although she did admittedly not warn her. (Then again, she’d been getting a load of Jean’s personality and she’d been trapped for an eternity herself. Not her most noble moment, but not completely incomprehensible, either.)
Stealing Neil…. Well, yes, that is bad. I could argue all is fair in love and war, but that’s a sell-out.
Jean definitely shouldn’t trust Araceli. But she made her into an enemy all by herself, and she has made zero effort to change things between them, even when Araceli grudgingly gave her openings to do so.
@ Senko: Aracelli has made a few efforts to be nice to Jeannie. Though that was after their initial rough start. She has been especially nice here, and has tried to clue her about what is going on, and who to bow down and show respect to.
She could be a great friend and ally. And has shown some restraint in dealing with Jeannie so far.
Yea, Jeannie did stick her foot in her mouth again. But then again, that’s really nothing new for her, I also don’t think she’s realized what sort of insult she threw out with that small breasts comment. unlike other girls who have gone through that time where they where still growing in and got teased for them being small. or in some peoples case still are putting up with that as even when they did get to their full size they are still smaller then they would like. She hasn’t had to deal with that due to this whole mess beeing thrust upon her latter on and her starting with them at a respectable size. So why that would be such an insult never got internalized, and with how much of a one track mine Jeannie can get especially when she’s upset I would say there’s a good chance she was just complaining about how she’s got it worse and didn’t intend to insult Araceli though wasn’t bothering to think to much about it either as until she got stuck here Araceli has been more of an antagonist then a help, even though she is trying to be more helpful here. Jeannie has been more focused on how unfair it is that she’s been trapped here and is being made to do all these crazy things and how she never signed up for any of this. which is actually true Jeane didn’t know he’d be turned into a genie when he opened that bottle and once he did there was go going back.
Given Jean’s personality, I think she knew perfectly well she was insulting Araceli. It’s just that if called on hurting someone’s feelings, she’s the kind of person to try and blow it off and say people need to develop thicker skin or not get worked up over nothing, whereas she’ll explode if insulted herself.
First meeting of Jeanie and Araceli where knowing Jeanie is meant to be getting training she realizes Jeanie didn’t realize what swapping bottles meant and then happily leaves her to be trapped at the bottom of the ocean and then pretends to be her to keep her master to herself.

https://jeaniebottle.com/?comic=jeanie-bottle-169
Then on the next meeting she traps Jeanie in her bottle (which I admit she might not think is going to be traumatic but after spending 500 years trapped in her own shouldn’t be her first response) then gloats she’s going to steal the master of a new genie who choose to remain with him out of “love” and her uncle will seal said new genie up permanently.
https://jeaniebottle.com/?comic=jeanie-bottle-280\
and on meeting Neil refers to him as master when he isn’t and she doesn’t refer to Rodg the same way so again she’s making her intention to steal him clear.
https://jeaniebottle.com/?comic=jeanie-bottle-300
As emphasized here where she refers to Jeanie as “masters former genie” taunts Jeanie and basically has to be begged to help in a situation where the genie could potentially die.
https://jeaniebottle.com/?comic=jeanie-bottle-320
Unless we’re looking at different comics she can’t be trusted and is NOT trying to help Jeanie except where it makes her look good or not doing so could reflect badly on her.
And by the way, CD, subtle work showing the increased tautness of the fabric. Nicely done.
I’m surprised that when Jeanie was ‘given’ that costume, that they didn’t have her remove her hat.
I’m suspecting that she will get into (more) trouble for being out of uniform because of wearing the hat.
Methinks that outfit is a BIT too much for this comic.
I’m wondering how/why that outfit is apparently giving Jeanie a uniboob. Some fan disservice for me there.
How else? Magic.
“Nobody knows what it’s all about / It’s too much, man, let it all hang out.”
Is that Jeannie #2 in panels 2, 3 and 4?
No. She’s one of the genies drawn in the background picture that’s been used quite a few times now. Her costume has the same color scheme but is cut a little differently; she’s wearing a veil; she has no hat; and she isn’t another blonde. Her name is Jenny. Call up this page without the comments and you’ll see Jenny with six other OC genies submitted to CD with links to their creators.
Incidentally, Araceli was picked out from an earlier request from something like a dozen choices. Her name is actually Spanish. I used to have the original pics for her and the runner-ups, but my computer crashed and I didn’t have them backed up. I’m not going to go back through all the Araceli pages right now to find them again, but they could still have live links.
I think that is Jenny
Jean needs to remember, “politeness costs nothing but gains you everything.” Sure she’s upset, but there is no need to take it out on the only person she knows there.
Except Jean wouldn’t know politeness from a hole in the ground.
‘Sucking up’, that she can do, but only to bosses she wants to shmooze.
lol Jeanie’s mouth, I like to introduce you to Mr. “Insert-Foot”
Also: they’re *genies*. There will be no malfunctions unless they wish it. Often I think that the outfits fashion models wear are retained by sheer force of will or magic – in this case it can be literally true. Or possibly just fashion tape.
In some cases, the models are literally sewn into their clothes.
That was true in the first season of Star Trek, and for the incredibly tight pants worn by the token female in This Island Earth for her encounter with the ridiculous rubber monster with crab hands. That piece of schlock can’t have put in by the original writer; otherwise it was one of the most credible science fiction movies of the Fifties. Naturally the woman and the rubber monster were featured in all the posters and ads.
The problem is, if your in the meddle of a shot to do a scene, if you have to go to the ladies room or the men room to do your business. They have to release you so you can do your business and then they have to sole you back in to finish the scene shot for the movie there doing. The actors complained about it, that why they changed the uniforms for the next Star Trek Movie.
“You don’t want them to fall out”
But what if falling out is part of the ceremony?
I …. wouldn’t put it past them.
AHAHAHA! Great costume..I wonder if Araceli will conjure herself up a larger set… she looks embarrassed
I feel badly for her. She keeps trying to be helpful and kind to Jeannie, and getting kicked in the teeth for it.
. . ..
I swear I’m reading a different comic kind and helpful? When? When she tricked a young inexperienced Genie into trading places so she could take her master and leave the genie trapped at the bottom of the ocean? When she threatened to steal that Genies master? When she traumatised Jeanie by trapping her in her bottle? When she used her uncle to try and set Jeanie up for failure?
@senco
I feel the same way. People are quick to romanticise a situation but I wouldn’t forget what Araceli was prepared to do. I think one has to remember genies are not human and we don’t know the rules of genie bottles. Recall Araceli was confused that genie was ‘afraid’ of her bottle and threatened a few hundred years to get over that fear… perhaps for a genie it’s not a bad place to be. Maybe they can access other worlds beside Earth or go in hibernation … who knows.
Araceli didn’t explain anything though and was quick to manipulate Jeannie ignorance to her own ends and desires. For a genie though this offered a way out which she took with not a shred of guilt..,
So yes I agree I would not trust Araceli .. I would talk to the other youngest genie..
Hey Araceli, to make absolutely sure nothing falls out, might I recommend using a staple gun?
No, I really do not like Jean. Besides, she can heal it up later.
Sooner or later we’re going to find out what the fuck is going on; I hope…
Either everyone had forgotten with the Natalie situation, or everyone was too busy with Jeanie’s “assets” to notice and comment on it.
Jeanie’s eyes are back to normal. If you recall in https://jeaniebottle.com/?comic=jeanie-bottle-445 , Jeanie’s eyes were blue and she was acting weird. Either Jeanie is no longer possessed/controlled, or it’s submerged back into her subconscious.
Ahh…. So THAT is how Big Bad Blue got in!
Well spotted. ^_^
Jeanie’s eyes have been blue from the start–although at some point her irises went from being fairly large to little blue dots. And in some places they’re black. I suspect this is an art thing, not significant.
I commented about this a few strips back, if you refer to comic #416, we get a good close-up of Jeanie where we can very clearly see the irises of her eyes and they are a purple-gray color, and definitely not blue.
Art-wise there really needs to be more of a middle divider between her breasts. It currently looks like she’s got a flesh-coloured top on.
Yes, it doesn’t look like two breast with a crease in the center of the two breast like it does with Araceli who is just behind her.
You only get the crease when you smoosh them together.
This particular piece of cloth is pulling them up only
Funny how we’re talking about breast dynamics in such a simple comic form, heh. CD’s art is more suggestive than realistic, and I think he gets the point across fairly well here. 🙂
Sigh… can’t make everyone happy…
Remember, I’m still learning. Next time I’ll try to shade better.
do or do not. there is no try. 🙂
That sounds like such a cool line, but it’s really pretty bullshit if you think about it.
Don’t worry about it. Some of us weren’t worried about it. Didn’t really notice until they pointed it out. Maybe you could’ve added a cleavage “Y” to help define their shape. But the idea of boobage came through clear enough!
And give that hand a rest! Hope it heals soon!
Are you familiar with the manga Crayon Shin-chan? He’s sort of a Japanese Bart Simpson. The art’s butt-ugly, but it’s a classic. The original creator died in 2009 (rock-climbing), but the series is going on, not something that doesn’t happen a lot with manga.
A domestic example: With Fetus. Not exactly up to the Will Elder or Andrew Loomis standards, is it? But it’s enough to get across a pretty involving story.
The discussion reminds me of Ethan’s boobage imagery in sailorsun 983.

Yea definitely one of those Hollywood movie lines of wisdom that sounded much better as a kid.
Hope you heal fast

Last panel: Araceli may be right, but don’t we get a vote?
