A junior engineer working for a small engineering firm in Cocoa Beach. The firm focuses mostly on NASA projects.
Neil is Jeanโs best friend. When Jean was turned into a genie, Neil became Jeanieโs master.
I like the little cloud of dust where they either ran or poofed away. Now we wait to see how Jeanie temporarily having a new owner affects Neil’s wishes and wiether the new girls can change back. I’m also entertained that Boss Hog talks out loud about his cunning scheme where people are standing right next to him or were.
Let’s modify the genie rules a little ๐
Only the original Genie may undo a wish – but only if unwished by the original wisher.
Then we need a new madcap plan to get Boss Hogg to unwish being rid of the Duke boys ๐
Too bad Boss Hogg, you should have made that wish, before you traded bottles. But, we saw it coming didn’t we. I am sure he going to protest that he got cheated too.
Oh OH! how could they know he would not have wished for the other bottles RATHER than make the trade? Why should he even have to trade for the other bottles? He HAD Jeanie in hand already and could have wished for the other bottles as soon as he was aware they existed–He’s THAT kind of person. —Neil and his friends took a great risk. Or didn’t think of it at all, and just got lucky.
The building is behind Hogg, so it was not visible in the frame where we are looking at it from behind, as it would also be behind the camera in that shot.
OH I AGREE! A genie engaging in fraud like that I imagine would NOT go over well for him. And it would be interesting to see Bo handle being made a genie completely different from Jean.
As far as I’m aware, not a single thing Jean said during this exchange was untrue. While she may not have mentioned WHY she was unable to grant his wish to have Cooter’s “wish” undone, she was completely honest about her inability to do so. She can hardly be blamed for Boss Hogg’s less-than-thorough questioning, and it was entirely his own prerogative to trade Jean’s bottle for a regular bottle. She wasn’t even the one to come up with the plan to swindle Hogg. She simply didn’t tell him that his assumptions were false.
Also, doubt Lord Guano could or would punish a regular person for claiming to be a genie. Just think of the drain on his magic that would come from Halloween alone!
On the other hand, Guano is just dumb enough to be fooled by a mortal claiming to be a genie. Witness how he thought Natalie was a genie simply because of how he/she was dressed.
Yeah, that’s just what Guano needs. Another male/human-turned female genie with a smart mouth and a temper hotter than her looks to supervise over. ๐
The Duke “girls” will probably have temporary custody of the bottle so as to wish themselves to be male again, get the General Lee back and wish it into better than new condition. They might want to wish Boss Hog forgets about genies.
You raise a good point. Even though Jean seems to have recovered, it’s still a good idea to find out what that substance is that poisoned her in the first place. It’s not good to have an allergy to an unknown substance that could be in anything.
Surprise Sucka!
Some fries, Sucka!
Knew he be stupid enough to wish for that. So no I’m not surprised he got the rug pulled out from under him so easily.

He can get 10 cents for that bottle so he is money ahead.
Oh OH! how could they know he would not have wished for the other bottles RATHER than make the trade? Why should he even have to trade for the other bottles? Of course, he thought he had a defective genie. That would make him wait to get his hands on the supposedly working genie to make his big play.
Well it’s not like the bottles have genies in them for real. All they actually risked was tricking boss hog into wasting a wish.
Wishing for other Genie bottles is probably not allowed. Because It is assumed they would have masters that own them.
“Fooled you!”
Parting is such sweet sorrow.
Did the building poof too
The building is behind Hogg, so it was not visible in the frame where we are looking at it from behind, as it would also be behind the camera in that shot.
The Fox and the grapes. Or in this case, a hog.
Enter Lord Guano wanting to recruit and enslave Bo ๐

And seeing that would probably send Kazom into a fit of giggles.
Speaking of Kazom, I wonder if he picked up a bottle while thinking that genies looked like cats?
The Duke “girls” will probably have temporary custody of the bottle so as to wish themselves to be male again, get the General Lee back and wish it into better than new condition. They might want to wish Boss Hog forgets about genies.
Y’know…weren’t Neil and Jean looking for a cure for the moonshine-induced illness that kept her confined to her bottle? Are they still?
Clearly, it has already worn off, since Jean has been out of the bottle for some time without going into a sneezing fit.
You raise a good point. Even though Jean seems to have recovered, it’s still a good idea to find out what that substance is that poisoned her in the first place. It’s not good to have an allergy to an unknown substance that could be in anything.
Meaning that Jean could and may end up sick again just to confirm which substance in that moonshine was the cause. Like an allergy test.
“kthxbai!”
