Well, Anne’s bottle must surely be impossible to damage by mundane means… right?
Well how mad will Anderson be now that he is a woman and a genie?
I foresee two possibilities:
1-she just shrugs it off and accepts it as the universe’s latest method of screwing her over. At least she’s immortal with job security and a ton of magical power, right? (I assume her thoughts)
2 – she goes full Jafar. Look at the first Aladdin sequel to see what I mean.
Truthfully, I suspect that Agent anderson would regard becoming a genie as maybe a step in the right direction. After all, it does have its advantages.
I wonder what happens to the genie’s personality and body if the bottle gets damaged?
Hopefully this experience won’t completely ruin Andersons character….
Yeah, but there’s ‘mundane means’, and then there’s ‘whatever the hell delivery services do’. I fear a very pissed off genie with a literally broken home will soon appear….

I wonder who the person holding the battered package in the last panel is supposed to be? The quote would fit the un-named shopholder, but the package is already battered, and the hair is gray, not brown. Delivery driver? (Can’t be Amazon because it’s not a drone, right?)
Tom, I can think of three possibilities:
1) It’s the shop owner’s assistant, who takes the packages over to FedEx.
2) It is the shop owner, who did a terrible job of wrapping the package. And he changed his hair color to go with his outfit. (Pretty easy to do when you’ve got magic.)
3) It’s the purchaser, who is evidently used to getting parcels in this condition.
I’m guessing #2.

3) The purchaser may be used to getting beat-up parcels, but wouldn’t say “not my problem.”
I think it should be the delivery guy, who would be the last guy in the chain. Or maybe it’s a postal worker. After all, the Cocoa Beach post office has these guys on its staff.

2) Same reason people climb mountains and other seemingly-pointless activities: because they can. Some people just like variety. For that matter, I’d change clothes a lot more often if I could do so by just blinking or nodding.
3) I was thinking that he might be saying that he doesn’t care about the outside as long as the contents are okay. But another thought occurred to me: it could be the purchaser’s assistant, too, who doesn’t care if his boss gets something damaged.
Hm. A genie working for the post office? That would bring a whole new degree of meaning to the term, “going postal.”
@Katgirl: A genie working for the post office would probably fit right in; since MIB2 we all know that most of the people who work for the post office are aliens. The rest are either MIBs or stoners like these guys too baked to notice (;))
I can’t help but think that Hachimitsu may have received some parcels in that condition.

You know, one of the really logical people to buy something like a used genie bottle would be BJ’s mother. You know, Boyd James, from the Melvin Chronicles, whose mom has a MAGIC SHOP!!!
That’s a good idea! And potentially funny, too. Especially if it was intended as a present for BJ. Who would then have his own hot-looking genie – exactly what he’s been wanting!
And once he has his own hot-looking genie, suddenly other girls will get interested in BJ, am I right? And, of course, Clamor would come back.

That would truly be an embarrassment of riches. And probably make his head swell again, despite Melvin’s magical psychiatric intervention.
And somehow, I don’t think a jealous Clamor would be a safe thing to have around. BJ might have to change his name to Claude Balls.

Came here to say that.
After we get damage report on possible damage goods from the insurance company and payment. We still don’t know where that bottle was going to in the first place. Another possibility would be Rodge seeing the Genie on Amazon.com and he ordered it, so he might be able to get his own Genie too, because, know that there are Genie’s and that they live bottle too. I don’t see it going to either to BJ mother or BJ, because of it would violate the Prime directive of not violating cannon. This is a non cannon look of Anderson being turned into a Genie. Every one knows that it non cannon, so we could start another Genie series all to it own and skip either California where Melvin, BJ and Red are or Florida where Neil and Rodge are and go to Nevada where Anderson wife and son are and have his son be the buyer of the Genie Bottle and having her son her new master. That would be funny, especially if his wife didn’t know that she is her sons new master and Anderson not going to be telling her either. It would also end any possibility of Anderson going back to being a man too.
One more thing. The new Genie would have to go to Melvin house to get some training too. We would basically have another spin off from Jennie Bottle to work off of too. Second thought, maybe not this is just something to keep this site active until CD Rudd get back, because after all this is Just a non cannon series.
So, funny tib bit about Genie training, I actually don’t know if the new Genie Anne would even be send with Kazom like Jenie did for her training. That depends only of the Genie Lord in charge of her now, and in Jeanie’s case, Guano, for what I know, wanted to screew Kazom with a unrully young genie, and Kazom wanted to screew Guano back realising Jeanie before finishing her training. As far as I know, Anne could end under the care of Asha, Araceli, the idiot up North or even Jeanie! We don’t even now if Anne is still under Gauano’s jurisdiction after her bottle was bought!
@Carlos: I think Asha would be a good candidate for Alya’s mother. That could give Alya a powerful sponsor later, similar to how Araceli, almost as clueless, has Uncle Guano now.
If we go buy what Guano, Mr. Bat bop himself says, there there are no female Genie Lords right now. It was Guano that wanted to make Asha the first Female Genie Lord. So we they probably have about one dozen Genie Lords or so and there all male Genie, with Haji being head Genie. That all new Genie will be put under one of those Genie Lords for training or generally over seen by them. So we have a High Archy of Hajii, the twelve or so Genie Lords and rest or those other Genie’s under those Genie Lords and then we have a rogue element that not part or this structure or the Blue Djinn. According to both Guano and Kazom in past discussion with Jeanie, new Genie have to have some kind training. Now there is hostility between both Guano and Kezom against each other and they don’t like each other and Jeanie got caught in the middle of this fight, but, new Genie still need to have Genie training. Guano still had to send Jeanie to somewhere for Jeanie to get the required Genie training. We know that Kazom is a former Genie Lord and he may be the only designated teacher for training new Genie or there may be several Genie teacher, we don’t know yet, it has not been revealed to us yet.
If the current person doing this Other Jeanie Bottle stay with the rule already laid down, then these are the rules they have abide by. But, since this is non cannon, they can depart from these rule a little bit.
@Larry There is at least one female genie lord actually, her name ia Natshir and we see her exactly once, alongside most genie lords, back in page 432. There may be another female genie lord, is honestly hard to tell in that second panel, but at least we know of Natshir for sure.
Also, if you are curious about the genie training, in the info page is explained that all the new genies must expend at least one day of training with a more experimented genie, before being able to freely serve as genies themselves. So, it’s not really Kazom’s job, the lords just send the new ones with any genie they feel can take care of them. With that logic, and with genie already being concidered a proper genie thanks to Kazom, even she could be chosen to take care of the training of another genie!
