Holy crap that’s dark…
Any Chinese readers happen to know what is being said on the majority of page? CD wrote the lines in English, then ran them through a translation service. But he did that weeks ago, and has since forgotten what the characters are saying. lol
Could getting Natalie pregnant, and somehow using the hubun-jadid, be used as a means for BD to gain a new body? He seems to be unable to kick an other genie’s soul/ mind out, just suppress them. Also by Jennie waking Neil up, through a wrench in that plan?
interesting question. I’ve been assuming that the Blue Djinn wasn’t an ex-human, but maybe he (or she–we’ve never actually seen the blue djinn, not even in the Melvin Chronicles) does need a body. Could Big Blue be a half-breed like Shantae or Tony Junior from the two Jeannie movies Barbara Eden did without Larry Hagman? Perhaps someone should check for green corpuscles.
I didn’t just watch Sailor Moon, I wrote one of the longest Sailor Moon fanfiction series on the web. A few days ago I turned up a fanart for it from 2004 buried in my yahoo mail vault. It’s still up at fanfiction.net: Sailor Moon’s American Dream.
And this was supposed to be a reply to Robert.
Oh cool! I love reading good SM fanfic. I’ll go give that a shot!
Does that mean jean will act more female because the Blue Djinn is absorbing female genies and will the Blue Djinn hit on Neil because of it.
I think I understand now how the blue djinn has gone against Haji’s rules.
Genies in shanghai… I love it!
Chinese doesn’t have specific words for yes or no. You need to specify what you’re saying no to, whether it’s no [it isn’t] or no [I don’t want it]. In panel 7, 沒有 means “don’t have.” It May be more natural for her to say “不” , which is a negative prefix and, if emphasized “不~~” is like someone yelling “noooo!”
