A fair point by Lahab. Jean’s going to have a lot to deal with these new duties being handed to her. Lahab knows that Jean has next to little knowledge about Genie Politics here.
Lahab is a smart cookie. Jeannie would do well to listen to her, but I’ll bet she won’t.
Jeanie’s hair grew considerably since her lava bath, a side effect perhaps? I like the longer ponytail. Also, the more I see of her new outfit the more I like it.
I hadn’t noticed it until you mentioned it, so I went back and looked. It looks like it has been growing since she got out of the the lava bath.
Maybe it’ll keep growing and end up like Jasmine’s, down past her butt.
I don’t know about that; if you check out Panel 2 of comic #773 (https://jeaniebottle.com/?comic=jeanie-bottle-773), you’ll see her hair was already waist-length before she went in the lava.
I think her normal shorter ponytail is just because she usually has much of her hair braided and wound around her head, leaving only the end hanging out. When straightened out, it’s not quite down to her rear end, but it’s close.
Patreon supporters might have a good guess about what happens next. But we’ll see.
Of course, what happens next might be switching back to Natalie. :-/
Bottles can be used for storing things other than genies. Maybe it’s a giant wolf named Fenrir. Nothing commands respect like a pet who can instill fear.

I still wonder why everyone’s so rude to Jean: she literally has the strongest magic ever but is being compliant.
She was the host for the Blue Djinn, who among other things went on a serial killing streak while possessing her. That is enough reason for many Genies to regard her as Blue’s servant, who should be sent to the Pitt of the Damned with the rest, if not for her being bonded to Guano.
It would be more interesting if Jeanie wasn’t able to escape this fate and had to make the best of it.
