The Blue Djinn is an evil genie who was apparently defeated by Lord Guano in the past. But now he's back, and he's angling to take down the Genie Lords... but how does Jeanie factor into his plans?
Jean AKA Jeannie AKA Jeanie is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through email, which means he doesn't have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie Bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie of the bottle should look like. Which, due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, turned him into a busty blonde woman.
A junior engineer working for a small engineering firm in Cocoa Beach. The firm focuses mostly on NASA projects.
Neil is Jean’s best friend. When Jean was turned into a genie, Neil became Jeanie’s master.
She is a magical creature and it may be a werewolf or vampire? Also Rodge might be signling for help Jean your needed right now? Blue Djiin is acting weird?
Also, Rodge it’s facing the first stage of grief for the imminent failure of this new relationship: Negation, to the fact he just found a weirdo… who may or may not be an anthropomorphic carnivorous plant.
I can’t see Neil much in panel 3. Blue is either hiding behind the menu out of discomfort or is really interested in what they have to serve, Lilly just seems confused, and well of course we have Rodge’s and his eyes twitching as if something just dawned on him.
I’m pretty sure that Lilly is a meat/blood-eating plant creature (i.e., “Little Shop of Horrors”) born of the mimic trap, and Blue’s derp face in Panel 2 indicates that (s)he just realized that the wrong hair might’ve made it into the trap.
Also, sirloin “meats” (weird phrasing, that) aren’t particularly cheap IIRC, so Rodge is probably having a panic attack over the potential bill.
Ok, we are probably looking at some kind of magical creature when we are looking at Lilly. Probably not a Vampire, because, Lilly was walking around in the day time and she eating meat and not drinking blood. Ware Wolf, work for me, because, we haven’t seen a full moon yet with Lilly around in it. Or possibly some other type of magical creature that would be a meat eater with a big apitight to satisfy.
I don’t think Rodge is as stupid as people think. Up to this point, he has been blind to who Lilly is, but, I think even this woke even Rodhe up that he has a problem too.
The indication is, she not ordering Sirloin for the whole table. She ording Sirloin only for her, with nothing else to eat. It a very strange diet for any one to have. Which indicates that there something wrong with her somewhere.
I’ve been to many restaurants, and when you order something like a tournedos (which is my favorite cut), you also get all the logical accessories, potatoes, gravy and of course salad.
The only thing strange is that she decided that everyone wanted them to be rare, (personally I prefer medium and my old folks always want theirs well done) but my point is that peoples taste are different, and it is polite to ask how people want their stake even if you are giving.
I’ve been to many restaurants too. At most restaurants, most people make there own order or place there own order with the waiter or waitres.
But, that not what she said! She said Meat only with no side order and make it rare and make it four stakes and she seem to indicate that it was for her only kind of order.
It obvious, that she not ordering for the other three people on the table there and that what Rodge ear is twitching about. That also why the waiter said that he will get them right out to her.
I do think Lily is the mimic Trap but we haven’t had a werewolf yet. That would be fun. If Rouyaa can rock her bottle over onto its side so it rolls off the table and breaks on the floor will she have her geanie powers back?

Okay, Lilly must be Aracei in disguise. I mean “Oh, I do what I am told”. That’s an obvious genie line there.
Also why are Rodge’s eyes twitching?
Little problem with the Araceli theory… she is a vegan: https://jeaniebottle.com/?comic=jeanie-bottle-133
Also, Rodge it’s facing the first stage of grief for the imminent failure of this new relationship: Negation, to the fact he just found a weirdo… who may or may not be an anthropomorphic carnivorous plant.
Oh right, forgot about that part.
Well sometimes the guys like the weird ladies, as long as they’re good kisser, as you saw in the previous part.
I don’t know, I think it could work out, as long as she doesn’t eat him.
I think it’s his ear twitching.
He may be twitching, knowing now he has to pay for 4 steak dinners
Well, I hard to tell who is more uncomfortable by panel three, isn’t it?
I can’t see Neil much in panel 3. Blue is either hiding behind the menu out of discomfort or is really interested in what they have to serve, Lilly just seems confused, and well of course we have Rodge’s and his eyes twitching as if something just dawned on him.
Jeanie/Blue Djinn going crosseyed in panel 2. Is Jean struggling against Blue Djinn’s control?
No, I think its supposed to represent surprise/shock.
Its similar to when the blind seer grabbed Jeanie’s breasts.
Odd is it putting it mildly….
She is very likely some kind of Magical creature that is also a devoted carnivore.
I doubt she is a vampire, as she would only require blood for sustenance if that was the case.
A lady, after my own heart!
Possibly your liver, too.
IE: A dedicated carnivore!!!
It’s spelled ‘sirloin.’
Omg I can’t believe I missed that, lol. “Sirlion” indeed…
?
That was obviously just Lilly’s order
I was thinking the same thing.
That’s the joke. 🙂
Rodge doesn’t realize that.
I think is not so much of Rodge not realizing it was just her order, but more of he really wanting to believe it wasn’t.
Lily’s the plant the blue djinn made, isn’t she? More than likely the CD based it off a Venus Flytrap:
– Venus – Goddess of… okay she’s Aphrodite
– Flytrap – do i need to go into details on this one?
yeah i think she is confused by what happened…and now she has to share….
Let’s see now: “Steaks, bloody, no sides” ordered by a “woman” who has the name of a plant…
The mimic couldn’t be a carnivorous plant, could it?
Well, this might explain the hickies.
Which seem to have disappeared.
bloody steak? could we be talking vampire?
If the music plays “Puberty Love” will Lilly turn back into a plant?
Now, THAT’S obscure…
one of my favorite movies,”Return of the Killer Tomatoes.” George Cloonie to the rescue. Killer vegetables.
Could Blues discomfort be that despite being evil Blue also does not eat meat which could expose her as not Jeanie

Don’t eat before the main course you still have a Neil to eat tonight.saddly not in a sexy way

Hmm…
Well… those of us who read Melvin know of one other magical creature…
I think she could be a sucubi of some sort. There are some implications to this for Blue.
What’s strange about ordering Sirloin its a great cut, and she is ordering for the whole table because she is generous

Rare? Trichinosis, all around.
That’s Pork.
Damn. It’s the plant, isn’t it?
Or this is an american werewolf tie-in. Either Way… weird.
Did jeannie ever turn a dog human? That would explain the whole “I do what I’m told” and eat lots of meat thing.
With all that meat she probably won’t be up for eating any of the other diners, at the table, tonight.
@CDRudd and Robert: let me guess, the next comic page is gonna be a little late?
Huh? This is this week’s page.
this is page 522. I don’t see page 523.
I’m thinking the comic is back to one page a week and Willis was used to seeing two pages as it was like that for a bit.
Or did I take something I forgot about that is leaving me under the influence ?
I hope not as that would be embarrassing. lol
“Large sirloin meats.” Not even “steak.”
…You know what? Take your time explaining what’s with this girl. I’m enjoying they mystery and guessing.
I remember the Trap Mimic took *two* hairs. I think she’s half dog, half human, and all plant…
The trap plant! Lilly is a flower – plant fits – and is often a flower of mourning. I think she *is* the plant, in human form…
I do think Lily is the mimic Trap but we haven’t had a werewolf yet. That would be fun. If Rouyaa can rock her bottle over onto its side so it rolls off the table and breaks on the floor will she have her geanie powers back?
Y’know, a Dark Shadows crossover would get us a werewolf (and a few other things we haven’t seen yet).
The TV show, of course, not the crappy movie.
Don’t eat before the main course you still have a Neil to eat tonight.saddly not in a sexy way
I get it now. Ole Blue was going to kill Neil by feeding him to Lilly.
