The Blue Djinn is an evil genie who was apparently defeated by Lord Guano in the past. But now he's back, and he's angling to take down the Genie Lords... but how does Jeanie factor into his plans?
Jean AKA Jeannie AKA Jeanie is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through email, which means he doesn't have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie Bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie of the bottle should look like. Which, due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, turned him into a busty blonde woman.
As they say, as a general rule they don’t accept bottle genie as there new Haji’s, but, if she the Blue Djinn all bets are off to what they will accept as the New Haji.
It look like a serious fight coming. I wonder who going to win?
I also wonder if Jeanie will retain any of the Blue Djinn power once he is defeated and thrown off. Also if Jeanie does remember what going on, she will have learned from one of the most powerful and experienced Genie in the entire Genie World.
That’s the problem with doing things by the book. There’s always a loophole somewhere. Blue thinks she’s found one. Haji might find another one, but Blue’s had a long time to think about it and how to exploit it. Can Haji file a counter-writ fast enough?
Galzom? Maybe it’s the similar name, but now I’m thinking Kaz has a cousin. Speaking of which, now I want to see the details of Blue stomping our kitty genie.
And here is were that magical doohickey blue stole to make new genie life to “rebirth” himself back into his old body and I figure he’ll use Jean/Jeanie to do it.
I must admit if that is what happens it will be messed up as Rouya being is daughter and Jean/Jeanie being technically Rouya’s daughter I guess that will mean he will be is own grandfather, that is so ‘eff up.
If CD really does go along that line I will be very impressed at that is one funky turn around.
If the Blue Meanie uses Jean to incubate a new body for him/herself (still not sure which to use right now, just gonna go with “they” from here on out), they would be their own great-grandfather and great-grandchild simultaneously, thereby being the most distant relation of themselves (sorry, Philip J. and Yancy Fry Sr.).
I also wasn’t sure which gender Big Blue was originally, until this page. He specifically calls out Jeanie’s body for being female, in a rant about why he doesn’t like his current situation. That certainly makes it sound like Big Blue is a guy.
Yeah, that is what I meant to say I guess the word grandfather popped in my mind with the lack of the work great before it.
Anyways there is got to be some significance for that McGuffin that big blue stole a while back before the comic’s hiatus and as far as I can tell my theory would not be that far fetch.
I think the “gotcha” is that Haji has already broke his own laws, and I think it has to do with something he did or didn’t do to Eevi and/or Rouyaa. Anything else would have to come out of left field.
Iiiinteresting point! Blue even specifically mentioned not knowing what Haji had done to Rouyaa. That chance meeting may very well have totally shifted his original plans.
So I guess combat to rule the genies.
Panel 5: the genies and the djinn will not accept a bottle genie as their leader, nor as their new Haji.
Thanks. Fixed.
The Blue Djinn is going to use Haji’s law to defeat Haji. So Kahin is some kind of lawyer?

I’m not sure battle is what Blue has in mind.
“I will defeat Haji with his own law!”

Kind of make me wish I’m wrong here.

Shouldn’t the eyes be blue in the first panels, not black?
Oops… I’ll have to see bout fixing that when I get home.
Panel 3, as well.
Eye color has been fixed. 🙂
Better hold onto the army, just in case…

Yay I’m all caught up.
……
….crap, I’m all caught up.
But but but… if you tear out her throat and feed it to her, it’ll fall out the gaping hole when she swallows!
