Formerly male, Agent Anderson ran afoul of a "distraction" from Jeanie, and has since been stuck as "Anne Anderson". She's currently assigned to the Orlando office of DHS.
A junior engineer working for a small engineering firm in Cocoa Beach. The firm focuses mostly on NASA projects.
Neil is Jean’s best friend. When Jean was turned into a genie, Neil became Jeanie’s master.
There are very few females that pixie cuts look good on; they must have rather pixiefied faces. Audrey Hepburn was the classic, but she was very much the exception.
@Kattgirl: I don’t think it’s an accident that the pixie cut got very common in France right after World War II. What happens to women who were sleeping with Germans after the Germans were driven out of France in the last year of the war? They got their heads shaved. And in the rest of Europe, all the women who survived the German camps came out with shaved heads.
In the States, another factor in the rise of the pixie cut might have been a 1943 movie with Ingrid Bergman: For Whom the Bell Tolls. It’s set during the Spanish Civil War (which Germany used as a wonderful live-fire-training exercise from 1936 until 1939, getting in shape for the main event.) Bergman played a Spanish woman with short hair because she’d been captured by the Fascists and had her head shaved.
Or: You have both hands full getting into your car. You’re in a hurry. You free one hand by putting the load in one hand on the roof so you can open the door. You open the door, get in, and you’re off. You remember that you left that something on the roof:
(1) When the car brakes and it comes down the windshield.
(2) When the car corners and it comes down by the side window.
(3) When you wonder about the people pointing at you.
(4) When you hear braking behind you and check your rear-view mirror.
(5) When you stop for gas four hours later and wonder what made that big scratch on your roof.
(6) When you reach your destination and find it still on your roof.
(7) When you return home and your spouse reminds you you left it on the roof.
Well that bra seems to fit Natalie rather nicely. That leaves the question of whether she will take it off to pay for it, or if she’ll just take the price tag to the cash register and wear it out.
I also want to see her wearing the top she was going to try on. Neil’s t-shirt is little big on her.
Now the question is, what is Natalie’s bust size? Actually what is the sizes of the girls in the comic. We know from the SailorSun.org comic but what about here?
Natalie bust size is at least a Double D size or larger. That my guess! She definitely need a bra on, so I am betting that she want to wear it out of the store wearing it. So she will probably hand the store clerk the labile and buy it that way. Oh, what a relief to have a bra on and take the weight off the front side.
Nice to see comic characters with human like body sizes. Nat would be very busty but not ridiculously large. I am excited to see how this plays out. I am hoping it is a personal mission to get her male body back and not a official mission. Since Jeanie poofed all the evidence of Nat in Vegas i am betting on the first out come.
I’m sure you’re right on it being personal. In the Jeanie-world universe, the intelligence services undoubtedly aren’t worried about magic-users who mind their own business and don’t cause problems. Anne is just here, on her own, to try to get her own life back to normal.
There’s supposed to have been a real study comparing breast size with intelligence, and the larger breasts seemed to track with the higher IQs. Self-esteem? Challenge of coping with unwanted attention? Extra effort to be taken seriously? More natural estrogen?
Yup. See my comment up-thread on pixie cuts: they can work for some women, but long hair is best. Since men are physically able to grow their hair long, this must be culturally conditioned prejudice–but there it is.
It strikes me that neither Natalie or Annie have tried to cut their hair.
I like that this conversation starts off sympathetically. I hope the conversation grows that way, that Nat and Annie can be friendly.
I’m also intrigued that both are in the fitting rooms because they selected similar tops that “look nice”, rather than “look comfortable” or some such.
The phrase “looks nice” doesn’t always just mean, “it’s pretty”. It can also include aspects like, “Won’t make me look fat”, “Goes with other stuff I’ve got”, “Doesn’t show too much cleavage”, “Comes in my size”, and “I can afford it!”
Kattgirl, I have never heard a male say, “Looks nice” in regards to clothing for themselves. “Looks good” is about as close as it gets. “Comes in my size” and “affordable” are other guy comments.
And even at that, “looks nice” is only intriguing, not definitive.
I hate people who use code phrases. If you mean “won’t make me look fat” say “won’t make me look fat.” How do expect people to know what you mean when you’re ambiguous like that. People need to be honest with each other.
As I know that getting my long hair stuck under me while I sleep and then waking up and trying to get up will jerk it, getting it stuck in the door seems about the same. In a word, painful.
now you know why some guys prefer SHORT hair.
Makes me wonder how Natalie would look in a pixie cut.
No. Please no.
There are very few females that pixie cuts look good on; they must have rather pixiefied faces. Audrey Hepburn was the classic, but she was very much the exception.
@50s: A lot of French girls have tiny, triangular faces like that.
Might make her look too butch.
I digree. I thank a lot of girl look good in pixie cut, or short hair in general, not that Natalry or Agent Anderson look bad in their hairstyles.

I’m with 50srefugee on this, I don’t want either to get hair that short. while still being female.
Natalie’s looking good in that bra.
Yeah, getting your hair caught in something hurts like hell.
Definitely an interesting way to start a conversation though… ^^;;
Car door and glasses when you forget and slide em to thew top of your head. Ouchies

Or, like my girlfriend does sometimes, put a different price tag on it and then go to the register.
I really want to see Natalie wearing that tiny shirt. Especially without a bra.
Now the question is, what is Natalie’s bust size? Actually what is the sizes of the girls in the comic. We know from the SailorSun.org comic but what about here?

Sadly, I think it is a mere D-cup size. You see, when Jean summoned Grace from Dan Shive’s Moperverse, Grace dropped the second “D” from Tedd’s name because this is not a Double D universe.
Everybody’s saying it, but it deserves praise: good start to the conversation.
Yeah, I thought so as well. I had been wondering how they were going to begin conversing without having seen each other yet.

“Aren’t worried” … they ARE worried, but also accepts they don’t have resource to do anything with that.
In response to Tom, better nutrition might also be a factor–sub-optimal nourishment tends to reduce both breast size and brain development.
It something about long hair on a woman that make them looks sensual…KEEP IT LONG!

50’s, be careful with the interpretations.

Hm, flipping back, I see I’ve been misquoting the girls. They actually say, “This is nice.” No looking about it.
I hate people who use code phrases. If you mean “won’t make me look fat” say “won’t make me look fat.” How do expect people to know what you mean when you’re ambiguous like that. People need to be honest with each other.
@Ben: It’s not a “code phrase” when you’re talking to yourself. (See panels 2 and 4 of previous comic!)
Seeing some of the past breast motion physics in both IDOJ and SS I am somewhat surprised to learn bras exist in these universes. 🙂
Could be worse. Even seen the X-Files episode “Chinga”? Or Saw IV?
Loving this comic as of late
This could be the begining of a beautiful friendship.
As I know that getting my long hair stuck under me while I sleep and then waking up and trying to get up will jerk it, getting it stuck in the door seems about the same. In a word, painful.
So are we getting a week of comics?
Yes, it starts on Saturday night. Check out the previous comic, which came out on Tuesday, for more info.
