The interesting thing to me is that Jeannie is mad about the dress — it shows just how female she is becoming. Would Jean have cared about that soon after the initial transformation?

Went back and compaired the two. It looks like Jeanie filled out the top a lot better than Rita so I vote for our Jeanie wearing it better.
Rita has nylons if that counts for anything, but I agree that Jeanie has the better shape.
Looked at frame 3 out of context. Really thought Jean was about to swat Jeanie. Guess that gives a hint to my mind…….

Actually there is evidence in canon that Jean has had a butt-smacking habit. Check out the last panel in Jeanie Bottle 75.
True, dat–but I wouldn’t call it a “habit”, so much as a natural impulse. There’s a post-WWII movie in which the main character, played I think by James Garner, really does have such a habit, and casually swats every pert bottom that passes by–most of them in uniform as WACs, WAVEs, WRENs,and the like.

If this were season 1 Jeanie, I would think Jean is going to end up on stage at a strip club down town. But I think our Jeanie has matured beyond that.
Also that she would probably know better than to punish her past (underage) self with an impromptu gender-swap/teleport. But this IS still Jeanie we’re talking about here, so who knows?
If Jeanie sends Rita to the stage at the Harem Club, Rita might like it. Sshe does have that kind of narcist personallity.

We all know that Jeanie doesn’t think thing through or consider what the consequences will be either. She a spur of the moment person. She see something and then she move on it out of what she feels at the moment. It causes a lot of problems too and then she has to go back and fix the stuff that she messed up.
Vulcan, your giving good advice, but, Jeanie won’t do that.
Larry… what exactly has Jeanie gone back to fix that she’s messed up? Strikes me that she never looks back without an outside influence pushing her to do so.
I admit that Jeanie fixing things is fairly limited or Jeanie coming up with idea’s to fix things, generally happens despite the things that Jeanie usually does, but, there are a few things that do come to mind here. She the one that took down the Blue Djinn and came up with the idea that exposed the North Korea secrete agent at Neil company. But, for everything that Jeanie has done like that, she also leave messes like not changing Clarence back into a guy before leaving for home. But, Jeanie does clean stuff up occasionally, but, she also leave a lot of messes too where ever she goes also.
