Jeanie Bottle 558
Uhhh… not so sure it’s a good idea to give a powerful weapon to a traumatized ex-genie, Kazom…
Also, for those wondering what this “Quat Euzma” is, it was introduced briefly in The Melvin Chronicles.

Jean you need to save the day and try to earn your own redemption so the universe is in your hands.
*sighs* I know Kazom is upset, but could he at LEAST try to be nicer to Jean?
Do you have any idea of the day Kazom has had…? oh wait, is right you don’t… I haven’t draw that yet, my bad. But it has’t been a nice day for him either.
Well, he DID caused some of that grief for himself to be fair.
“Nice” to jeanie? Hey, isn’t Jeanie really Jean, a guy, who probably thinks of himself as kind of a tough guy?
Jeanie, you had powers, and used them frivolously. You didn’t respect your Master, you didn’t respect the Rules, and you didn’t even respect yourself.
And now you think you can curl up and cry like a little girl in the opening stages of a great battle.
Man up.
Actually over the last year or so that Jeanie is more and more Jeanie than she is Jean now and is increasing over time becoming more Jeanie than jean too. Somebody mentioned mind expansion when it comes to having a Genie mind and in Jeanie case it a female Genie mind with motherly instincts to her too. Over time, she is increasing acting more like a women, with a women mindset, with a women desires too.
Being Jean is increasing only a memory of who she use to be and will never be again.
She needs to women up!
@50srefugee Honestly, with all her faults, the more the story goes, I fully believe Jeanie hasn’t really broken any real rules, at least ever since her encounter with Melvin, and the free will fiasco, that is. And more than a rule, that seems like a natural limitation on their part. Hence, why it backfire in a “natural” manner, instead of with Guano or other lord intervention.
Genies are “bond” to grant three wishes to the master of their totem, at that’s it, everything that happen afterwards, is up to the genies will, whatever they stay with their master, or they leave. Granted, this is also up to Haji, who seems to be the real core of the rules. The Rules are meant to serve Haji, not the masters, even in the info page states that after granting their three wishes, genies who stay with their master are free to “serve” them with their magic, but not force to do so, and even are free to do it according to their own ideas as to how do so.
More important, genies didn’t start serving mortals because they “had” to do so, in fact, a long time ago Genies try to keep mortals serving them, but them Solomon came along, and force the genie kind to be bond to totems, which them got bonded to mortals. If female bottle genies develop those motherly instincts towards their master, it’s seem more of a evolution thing through generations, rather than anything else.
If anything, the fact that Jeanie refuses to play along with all those backwards rules (for real, even to other Genies like Asha, Araceli, Rouyaa and even Kazom, they seem to be more of a source of suffering than anything else), seem to show that Jeanie respect herself more than anyone else… which has it’s own problems in regards how little respect she have for everyone else, but still.
I think an actual little girl might be more useful than Jean right now. Saying she is acting like one is kinda an insult to scared little girls across the globe who would at least be able to summon up a “No, go away” and kick someone in the shins. Jean has to girl up and be at least as useful as that.
At least Jeanie can stop crying long enough to give Kazom the low down on what going on. All Kazom has to far is a phone call from Araceli tell him the Blue Djinn in Jeanie body, she trapped in that being crushed. She need to tell Kazom that Neil and Rodge are trying to get Jeanie bottle and help them too.
Yes, exactly. This isn’t about her.
So it’s up to her, then.
I forget if Kazom knows Jean was originally human.
Right now, it doesn’t matter. Not to what he’s saying. Jeanie’s mind expanded in way she didn’t even realize, she was too narrow minded to notice. Now that expanded mind is trying to run on outdated hardware.
I’m pretty sure he knew, and if he didn’t Araceli must have told him when she called him.
“Oh, you’re one of those genies!”
in other words it the one magic a non magic being can use
Is anyone else quite fond of Jeanie’s New Years dress in the header? I am. 🙂
Love the LBD. Its amazing she can hold it up without straps. Must be magic.
Magic … or double-sided tape.
You just can’t see the straps. Although a “backless” version would need magic or sticky tape, you could probably have some spaghetti straps attached to the side of her chest piece, crossing from left to right in sprays across her upper back to attach to a choker/neck strap. Of course, the blue jacket doesn’t quite seem to cover enough of her neck for the collar to be hidden by the chin line…
Jeanie, in consideration of CD’s PG rating, do not take a deep breath in that dress.
“Also, for those wondering what this “Quat Euzma” is, ”
Is that not those wee tiny citrus fruits?
You’re thinking of kumquats. 🙂
“You can’t just break a genie into a human without side effects,” said Kazom. Shouldn’t he mean that you can’t just change or make a genie into a human without side effects?
I think he’s using a turn of phrase similar to how one “breaks” a wild horse so that one can then domesticate it.
So… Kazom’s a Green Lantern?
No, he is the guardian, and Jeanie is about to become a Green Lantern. Though, with the color scheme, it makes more sense for Neil/Natalie to be the Green Lantern, and Jeanie the Star Sapphire.
CD already already drew that cosplay, I think. 🙂
Doesn’t the blue Jin still control Jean?
I like the genie in the black/blue(FYI I’m color blind)
dress at the top. probably one of the sexiest I have seen so far
