Jean AKA Jeannie AKA Jeanie is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through email, which means he doesn't have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie Bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie of the bottle should look like. Which, due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, turned him into a busty blonde woman.
A junior engineer working for a small engineering firm in Cocoa Beach. The firm focuses mostly on NASA projects.
Neil is Jean’s best friend. When Jean was turned into a genie, Neil became Jeanie’s master.
Why is everyone assuming days or weeks have passed?
It could be that after the movie, Natalie got Roger to take her to Neil’s place, Natalie said “Wait here” while she went into the bedroom to “slip into something more comfortable” to continue her attempts to seduce him for the first time, and Jeannie got back while Roger is still in the next room, thus possibly frustrating her success.
Natalie’s expression of shock in the last panel could be her Neil personality suddenly waking up and realizing how unnaturally he’s been acting while in the form of Natalie!
I personally have always loved that moment when a character takes a step back and says, “WHAT have I been DOING???”
I don’t think your theory stands up, due to how Natalie phrased herself at the end of panel 3. She specifically said “Rodge is coming over.” One does not say that unless the person to whom they are referring is not already in the same abode.
And since that implies that Rodge has been separated from Natalie by more than just a door, and it seems unlikely that Natalie would have willingly separated herself from him after what we saw her doing during the movie, it is reasonable to infer that at least a day has passed since the scene at the movies, giving time for Rodge to have gone home after having shacked up with Natalie post-movie.
That doesn’t mean it definitely happened, but we can dream, right? 🙂
No worries Willis, I’m fine. I just have a few major REAL life things that need my attention more so then the comics.
Even with Robert’s help, making 4+ comics a week takes a bunch of time, and sometimes REAL life has to take priority.

I hope Agent Anderson gets transformed into a genie by the end of this story arc!
Well that would be an unexpected twist!
She would make a cool genie in my mind.
where’s the update for yesterday and today?
CD’s busy with some major life events right now, so we don’t expect to have this week’s comic done until tomorrow or possibly Friday.
oh. I was just wondering, and i hope CD will be ok.

@CD – it’s cool. You’re just so good at suspense that we worry when we’re left hanging.
Real life does get in the way sometimes.
Slow down. Finish the Sailor series and concentrate on the Jeanie series. There are triple the comments here than there indicating IMHO more interest,
Comments aren’t a great indicator though. He will have access to better stats about page views etc.
