Jeanie Bottle 253
Looks like Rodge and Caley will be having a “blast” together!
In case you don’t recall, Jeanie pouted about not being made aware of Rodge’s niece Caley until very recently. And Caley seems to like Neil more than Rodge, for some reason. I can’t imagine why.
I can see where this is going! Let the TG games begin!
Only one line of deadpan snark and already I’m starting to like this girl.
Caley’s hair colour might be the best thing I’ve ever seen ever.
I reckon Rodge might take the jeanie bottle
Rodge might take the bottle or Caley.
If I was in Jean or Neil’s shoes I would hide something as powerful as that bottle, or at least put it somewhere less conspicuous. We seen what it could do in the wrong hands, i.e. Adolph and Eva. On the other hand CD might just be using it for a point of reference to show that it is Neil’s place.
If Jean hid her bottle, people might think it is important. Better to hide it in plain sight, where she has easy access to it.
Rodge doesn’t appear to have a key to Neil’s apartment, since we can clearly see that he’s not in the room (the walls are a different color). So I don’t see how he could grab Jeanie’s bottle.
Actually I believe Neils apartment is still accessed via Jeanies and I doubt Rodge would have a key to her place. So even thought the bottle is in the open they wouldn’t be able to get in till Neil and Jeanie come back from the beach.
Also poor Caley instead of getting to hangout with the guy she has a crush on she’s stuck following her uncle around as he runs errands.
Rodge does know that Jean has become Jeanie, and although it happened sort of “off-camera,” he knows from Neil/Natalie that the blue-haired harem girl is another genie–which wouldn’t necessarily stop Rodge from hitting on her. Unlike Rodge from IDOJ, our Rodge doesn’t seem to be spectacularly greedy; he sees his main problem as not having any success with real girls. In fact, he’s really worse off than Melvin; at least Melvin does have a girl he really likes enough to stay committed to.
And that’s why I see a good chance Rodge is going to get turned into a girl–unless Araceli tries to get Neil by making him jealous. We already know Araceli can put on a pretty convincing act…
It’s not nice to knock on someone’s door at dawn.
Rodge doesn’t seem the type to even be up at dawn.
Maybe Rodge was hoping to hook up Caley with Rodge for the day while he goes off with Jeanie–even though she used to be a guy, Rodge still thinks she’s hot, and, what the heck…
It’s still dawn?
Maybe that’s why Roge didn’t phone to say he was coming.
Or….
He knows Neil has a run Saturday mornings?
Ooo do i see some age regression in the future.
Don’t see why??
Although I would be fully behind Rodge getting TGd and age reduced to match Callie (11/12?) For awhile.
or the Callie might become older, or both
I don’t remember Caley at all.
First time we’ve seen her and I only recall her getting mentioned once or twice before.
Caley was mentioned in the two comics I linked in the description.
Now I see why I didn’t remember her. She’s not named in either of those comics, either.
Makes me wonder if the Red head nerd girl is related to Rodger.
OK, is he knocking at Neil’s or Jean’s door, or both? I mean the first 2 panels show 2 different interiors, and I know Neils apartment is somehow “inside” Jean’s, but I assume his regular front door is still where it belongs for all regular visitors . . .
Warping of space-time for Jean’s convenience is confusing me. Ah well, we’ll find out later I guess . . .
Neil’s room has been moved to Jean’s apartment. If you recall, Neil’s door wasn’t where it’s support to be. The warping of space time is due to the fact that Jean was able to add a room in her apartment without making her apartment bigger. (Her apartment is bigger on the inside then the outside. (Ref doctor who)
Yep as I said up page Rodge is knocking on Jeans door and we just zoomed out Dom Neils apartment right?
When Neil leaves his apartment, is he in Jean’s apartment, or in Ms. Eden’s house?
I think that depends on whether he leaves via the door or the window.
Also in thinking back I find it interesting that Jeanie moved him in because she wasn’t going to live in a tiny bachelor apartment.
How old is Caley?
Two heads shorter than her uncle makes me guess nine or ten. Also, she might be a tomboy–and a geek, if she’s crushing on Neil, who’s sort of an uber-geek. I could see her crushing on Melvin if they’re somehow brought together…
How about devoting a I Dream Of A Jeanie Bottle strip to Jaycee Lee Dugard and Natascha Maira Kampusch.
