Well, I guess some ancient pirate magic be in these waters tonight. Cause Araceli looks like having her magic drained out of her.

I have a weekly D&D-like RPG session on Monday evenings, now. So if CD doesn’t finish the comic before that session starts, he ends up having to post it himself, since I don’t have time to copy edit it and post it before the 9:00pm PST posting time.

I’m not actually allowed to say, as I signed an NDA. It’s an alpha-test for this RPG, which hasn’t yet started its Kickstarter campaign. It should be announced some time in September, I think.

I had a couple of college students on my crew with summer jobs. In creative writing class they would play D & D and then write the story. They actually got pretty good grades.
This is very likely the most obvious comment for this week’s comic, but here goes: this is the object Kazom was searching for in the I Dream of Nostalgia storyline. According to the Archive byline, he believed this object had something to do with another plot by the Blue Djinn.
If Blue was looking for it, then it adds another reason why he would attach himself to a genie who had ties to the Florida east coast.
I hope Natalie, and eventually Jeanie, recognize that Araceli getting trapped like this takes priority over their petty little problems.
