Jean AKA Jeannie AKA Jeanie is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through email, which means he doesn't have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie Bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie of the bottle should look like. Which, due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, turned him into a busty blonde woman.
Well, if he believes that it’s a dream, then he would find it reasonable to find that he has been “asleep” for a few hours, so it becomes more a mystery of “why did I fall asleep like that?”
Only Rodge mentioned McGyver, maybe Jeanie had the SG1 character in mind all along. Maybe Rodge didn’t watch SG1, even though he is an engineer and they do tend to be scifi geeks not all of them are.
Looking through stuff on the show. I appears he was more upset about the stain of doing the series. Raymond Burr had the same complaints about Perry Mason, but also did a number of TV-movies with the character.
She DOES look good in a nice tailored uniform! The genie outfit is a SORT of uniform, but the military crispness and precision does set her figure off quite well indeed.
And, yes, that would be a good idea for a monthly donation pic.
only to have Kanye West walk up, take the mike away and go on a rant about how much Tom Selleck is a better actress and deserves it way more than he does. Any or all of them may be female or become female part way through the dream. Then he wakes up screaming.
You know, looking back on this scene a few years down the road, I think: This would have been SO MUCH funnier if “MacGyver” said something to the effect of “Kid, I’m a famous celebrity. This isn’t the first time some genie has poofed me somewhere to solve a problem for them. I know the drill by now.”
Well, if Jeannie can get him back quickly enough that he doesn’t notice any irreconcilable passage of time…
Well it is I Dream of A Jeanie Bottle, and he is getting a bit old.

She looks good in uniform yes. Maybe we will see her that way on top of the comics after halloween?
I approve of this idea!
November does have Veteran’s Day…
Except that Richard Dean Anderson Hated McGyver, So it’s a bad dream
good thing it’s SG1 then. Jean looks good in the uniform.

I’m an engineer myself, and I haven’t seen SG1.
Hence the reason why stereotypes are bad. Also hence the reason that hearing someone say hence three times is a little weird and off topic.
I’m a computer geek, and i’ve never seen SG1 or Stargate.
I share Fairportfan’s geekery and lack of having seen either show/movie listed.
If he hated Mcguyver why produce the two TV movies? I thought the fact he hated Mcguyver was just something for the Simpson’s episode.

As Crusty the Clown would say, “They backed a truckload of cash up to my door! I’m not made of stone you know.”
One reason actors become producers on their shows is that it’s a way to make more money. Not the only reason, but it is one reason.

Probably end like all his other dreams, with him thanking the Academy for the Oscar…

Kanye would call Selleck an actress?
Me, I ‘m going to hate to see October finish. I’ve been enjoying the witches’ costume at the top. Would even give Elvira a run for her money.
But as a vet, I too, vote for the Veteran’s Day commemorative.
I’m a Vietnam Era vet, I second it.
Natalie/Neal should ask for an autograph before he leaves.
“Here you go… Hey, wait a minute… How can I write in my dream?”
Then wake up.
Jeannie provides the pen to write the autograph and when he wakes up he still has it.
PS:
What is the unofficial name of that hat?
It’s on the tip of my tounge…
Well, it’s not a garrison cap, which is what came to mind first.
It is called a garrison cap. The short blue tie is called a neck tab.
Don’t know why she wouldn’t. The TV Jeannie frequently looked quite nice in a USAF uniform.
I’m old enough to have seen the original TV show, back then. Yes, she did.
I need clips of this, stat!
Damn you PLOT CONVIENT CIRCUMSTANCES!!! (Crap I hit caps lock)
She does look hot in uniform, but I bet she would look even better in Navy whites. 🙂
Imagine if he acted out the Oneil character and on their way out mentioned the stargate program. The agents would wonder if SG1 isn’t for real!
What? Shatner wasn’t available?
Then she could have teleported them all away.
