A junior engineer working for a small engineering firm in Cocoa Beach. The firm focuses mostly on NASA projects.
Neil is Jean’s best friend. When Jean was turned into a genie, Neil became Jeanie’s master.
Jean could probably get away with using the “carrot and stick” method (i.e. making the thing she wants someone to do seem extra-appealing), but giving a person a mental compulsion to do the thing or taking direct control of them like a puppet seems to be forbidden. The target needs at least to have the opportunity to refuse even if Jean is stoking the “flames of desire”.
Like I said, Rodger can show flashes of work ethic and intelligence, he just can’t sustain it for long, especially if there is an attractive woman around.
Jeannie, of course won’t care if Rodger, or even Neil, gets fired. Unless Neil can remind her of the Vegas trip and get some help.
Next letter T? and it was UNL (Nebraska) circa ’77, he DID move away after he graduated in ’78, said he had a job waiting for him up North. If it is the same guy, betcha he’s sneezing 😉
And, if it is him, glad to know he’s still alive, kickin and working at what he loved most, DRAFTING. kinda a lost art these days, and thanks to SketchUp, I’m back to digitizing alla my old designs.
Nope, this was Dave Wal**** Though I have a weird feeling that everything past the L might be the same….
Maybe they are both part of the Dave Conspiracy though… or had the same teacher, since Dave Wal**** said that he had picked up the habit from a Design 101 teacher at MIT.
He needs a call from Natalie to get him going…
Roger and I have something in common, the same attention span.
You mean ADOS? (Attention Deficit ..Oooo, Shiny!!!)
*dux an runs!*
he needs a personality tweak from jean.
checking my gavatar
on second thought can Jeannie tweak people or does the free will thing get in the way?

Open Mouth, Insert Foot Neil. XD
I have a feeling Neil is going to be going to Vegas in dresses and heels.
lets hope so
I think your are right
Heh, I used to know an architectural engineer that would make cat’s cradles while thinking…. It was NOT a sign that he was distracted.
So did I, and while he was doing cats’ cradles, his mind was churning, and he’d crank out some drop-dead gorgeous designs…was his name Dave W???
I also will toy with pencils, thumb drives, and such while I’m thinking. Helps break the blockage.
@Cheryl – Git outta mah head!!! *LAFF*
@CD – Itching to read the next one, keep our fix coming!
He was A Dave W…. Next letter A?
Portsmouth, New Hampshire? C. 1980?
