Jean AKA Jeannie AKA Jeanie is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through email, which means he doesn't have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie Bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie of the bottle should look like. Which, due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, turned him into a busty blonde woman.
A junior engineer working for a small engineering firm in Cocoa Beach. The firm focuses mostly on NASA projects.
Neil is Jean’s best friend. When Jean was turned into a genie, Neil became Jeanie’s master.
If I were Neil, I’d be either emailing or texting Rodger as Nelly. Just a few tidbits of technical jargon should get him going. Probably need to get a pre-paid phone to have a different number, but other than that it would be easy to string him along for a week or two without actually having to meet/see him again in female form.
I’m just waiting for Neil to make a REALLY bad wish…something like ‘I wish I understood girls better.’ Or maybe, ‘Jean, I wish you understood girls better so you could explain them to me…’
Um, why the need to prove it? They ARE better than men. The humble ones master the world with being behind the scenes. The brazen screw it up with being obnoxious. Men are no better in this scenario.
The only thing I’ve learned that’s a plus to being male is the ability to pee while standing up, and even at times THAT gets to be an annoyance. Women can cry, have children, and get away with things a male could not ever get away with. They are superior, and should stand up, bitchslap all the men screwing things up and take over and fix this mess before it all goes boom. I’ll shaddup, now.
if one thing motivates one sex then it probably motivates the other (exept it would be guy not girls) can you please have jean start acting more feminine and fall in love with Neil it would be really hilarious also something just accursed to me she could have asked Neil to wish she was a guy that looked exactly the way she was before so maybe she likes looking like that?
Up to this point it has seemed that genies have to grant their masters’ wishes under their own power, so Neil probably can’t do anything with a wish that Jean couldn’t do anyway.
Spite, Jean.
Women will spend more of their time and energy, go farther, cross more lines, and achieve more to spite someone they hate (most often another woman at their workplace, but also sometimes an Ex they’re bitter about) than for any other motivation.
oh jean *shakes head*
Jean is looking facy. I wonder what he’s getting all dressed up for.
Vegas, probably. There is supposed to be a conference there.
Or it’s just the celebration of the 200th comic strip.
That works too.
Wh… why is Jeannie wearing a tux? I’m certainly not complaining, since she makes a handsome young lady. But what the heck?
Probably not big on wearing dresses anymore, after what happened last time.
Clearly she is dressed up the celebrate 200 comics.
Congrats on 200 comics,
nice way point,
Here’s too the next 200!
$M0NEY$

Of course, Neil is unlikely to think of this . . .
Congrats 200 comics wow…a great achievement as a lot of web comics fold after like 10 or so….;)

But he will.
Congrats, CD, one strip atta time, lets have 200 more!!!

PS:
I congrazed you in #199.
Shoes mean you can get away from the house and go further than the yard. So in some ways shoes mean freedom.
Congrats from a big fan.(person not an object)
Congrats on reaching 200 strips, CD!
I’m just waiting for Neil to make a REALLY bad wish…something like ‘I wish I understood girls better.’ Or maybe, ‘Jean, I wish you understood girls better so you could explain them to me…’
Jeannie is already begining to understand girls better. I have to say she looks cute in her Tux and as others have said congrats on reaching 200.
I guess one motivator for women is, proving they are as good as, if not better than the men.

Why not just say the sex’s are different in some ways, each with their own strengths and weakness.
Happy 200!

Yes, we would all like to know… XD
Congrats with the 200 chief!
