Probably not likely to happen. Remember, when we last left Neil, he was at his desk still in the stocks. I know I wouldn’t be leaning towards being nice, much less rewarding anybody who had done that to me.

I don’t think that’s it.
He’s her master. It’s not a matter of her needing a guide to the modern world, it’s a matter of her needing him, his presence.
That’s part of who and what she is, and I expect coping with that is part of what Neil needs to learn about being a master.
Of course, useless for dealing with Jeanie, who has never been the obedient devoted type. It would be interesting to know what could make her that way…
