Jean AKA Jeannie AKA Jeanie is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through email, which means he doesn't have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie Bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie of the bottle should look like. Which, due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, turned him into a busty blonde woman.
Especially since those maids-in-waiting didn’t bother to wait for Jean to wake up before dressing her. Just make their job easier when they’re unconscious, they must’ve figured.
I have to admit, that is not what I’d imagine a princess gown to look like. Fugly comes to mind. Besides, green is not Jeanie’s color, although it is worn by Lord Guano. I wonder which portions will turn white when she’s sitting on the throne next to him (maybe the entire dress since it was his green vest that changed color when they’re together).
Perhaps if major portions of it were translucent, like the sleeves, waist, and skirt. The shoulder boards are an interesting touch, though.
I like the basic design, but I don’t like the color. Although when Jeanie is near Guano and it turns white, it should be quite nice. Almost like a wedding dress.
Considering they can pass out, sleep, eat, and most other things that humans do. I would say that is a yes.
Besides, when jeanies body was controlled by Rouya’s consciousness she made herself appear in space INSIDE the spaceship (rather than outside of it). So its pretty clear they have to breathe.
Counter point to the “pretty clear they have to breathe”… they can be in a bottle (under water, so air tight) for hundreds of years without ill effect.
I would say that they normally *do* breathe, but they do not *have* to do so.
Looks similar to one of the dresses that Anna from Frozen wore, or perhaps something from the Tudors.
Yeah, I don’t blame about that dress.
Burn it, it looks worse than some of the more traditional kimonos. Sure they look beautiful, but that is only if you are not the one wearing them.

Breathe… with an E.
Whoops. I knew that panel looked odd, but I couldn’t put my finger on why.
Fixed now.
Damn!
If that’s a formal princess gown, I take it there will be a lack of transparency in her administration.

Jeanie forgets that she can poof up a can opener and flamethrower herself.
She usually does.
But also, despite her opinion about the dress, she’s probably not actually going to destroy it.
I wonder if she could just poof it away. It’s likely another genie’s magic, on the other hand they did poofed out her previous dress before …
Do genies NEED to breathe?

Wasn’t Rarity dressing her? I didn’t think she’d go with something quite so… ostentatious.
It also doesn’t match with the traditional Arabian style of clothing that Genie culture seems to like.
is such an ugly garment
Some canned oxygen perhaps.
Does she need to breath? Well, she seems to think so.
Do you think the makeup’s part of the formal look?
