I’m not so sure that Neil’s going to be as thrilled about this as Araceli is…
Oh, the deal that Araceli would be Neil new genie so does that mean Jean is Caley now?
I mean, that first sentence is what Araceli *wants*. Doesn’t mean that’s what she’s gonna *get*, though.
No reason that Jean would go to Caley, though, unless Caley finds her bottle. Wherever it went in that last page…
I suspect Jeanie has been recalled to fulfill her marital duties… whichever those may be.

One has to wonder why. After putting up with Jeannie, it seems lke Araceli would be great to have around.
I mean, except for the fact that she has a jealous streak a continent wide. Don’t forget that she threatened to imprison Jeanie in her bottle for eternity and steal Neil from her.

Of course I did. Why would I not? She’s been shown to absolutely hate Jeanie’s guts on multiple other occasions out of jealousy over Neil.
Its not a snide remark she knew Jeanie was a new and inexperienced genie, she know they’d swapped places so Jeanie was trapped in a chest at the bottom of the ocean where she used to be and she was not only happy to leave her there but shocked she escaped. Her behaviour to a human she decides needs to be punished will probably also show a similar lack of restraint given the mind-set of the world she still largely exists in.
So, Araceli got Jeanie replaced with her at just the right time to leave Neil stuck as Natalie. Somehow, I don’t see him being as happy about this as Araceli thinks they will. Rodge, on the other hand will be a bit more pleased.
It’s good to see Araceli again.
All depends on what’s happened with Caley.
Has it been established that genies cannot undo each other’s changes? I’m going to assume this means that Neil will be stuck as Natalie until Jeanie returns.
Also wondering why Araceli can’t simply poof herself to Neil/Natalie’s side, but I suppose that would interrupt the hijinks on the boat.
(BTW, still holding out hope that this storyline results in a TG’d Rodge)
IIRC, A genie undoing another genies magic is possible, but takes a lot of magic to pull off
Given how much magic Jeanie has, it might not be possible by anyone but the most powerful genies (who are also the oldest, thus they are unlikely to be willing to waste that much magic)

Time for you to get Tg.ed. Araceli could turn Rodge into a Jeanie lookalike and send him to marry guano.

And it has been established (https://jeaniebottle.com/?comic=jeanie-bottle-45) that Guano is not very perceptive of such “substitutions”. Unless the mated status changes that…
So how’s Araceli is even aware of Jeanie’s absence right now but not Neil’s? Genie-sensor or is she creeping around their new house at times? Or did she had a hand or poof in what caused Jean and her bottle’s disappearance?
She’s likely responsible for Jeannie disappearing in the first place. Probably made a request for a transfer or something like that.
It’s more likely that she was told that she would be replacing Jeanie as Neil’s genie, and would naturally assume Jeanie was no longer in the picture. And since Neil is not present, she’s not going to just sit around when she has unfinished goodbyes to make. She’s not going to be happy when she finds Master is now Mistress. As for where Jeanie went, probably old business being taken care of.
DOES she know that Jeanie’s not there? None of her dialog seems to imply that she’s given Jeanie even a passing thought in her latest “Get Neil Quick” scheme.
Considering Araceli has just placed her totem in Neil’s house, it’s clear she knows Jeanie’s own is no longer there.
I’m thinking Araceli isn’t all that perceptive, either (see Foradain’s comment above). She looked under a chair for Neil.
I thought she was looking to see if he was hiding under the bed. Given Araceli’s opinion of Jeanie, she would not be surprised to find him hiding from Jeanie.
Araceli didn’t check on where Neil was. She just blinked to where she THOUGHT he was. A blink to where he IS would either have no result because there is no Neil at the moment, or it would pop her onto the yacht with Natalie and Roge. And how would Araceli feel about a female master, since she can’t change Natalie back to Neil? She’s going to have to track down Jeanie to him changed back.

Just a thought. Since Rouyaa is now a mortal Jeanie could be slated to become Haji’s newest 23rd concubine.
