Well Araceli wants to continue but Neil doesn’t know what to do so many problems for you today.
Do I detect a hint of jealousy in Jean’s voice?
A bit, yes–but I think it’s more, “You’re not going to be paying attention to my exciting story, are you?” rather than “You’re letting that chit Aracelli steal you from me!!”
Can you really blame Neil? He had his own exciting story all day.
Then again, Araceli did kinda had Neil all to herself, or more specifically, had him inside her all day.

How are rockets, cybertrucks, genie society revelations, and most importantly Guano’s crazy-ass mom a “snoozefest”?

Yeah, probably. I’ve just been seeing a bunch of comments on other webcomics I read that are saying that un-sarcastically lately, and I overreacted.
Still obsessed with that cybertruck I see. 🙂 It must have been a wrench to see it vaporized. CD should get you one to reward your dedication. Or at least a nice picture of one, like that Lamborghini Countach poster found in so many 1980’s bedrooms. Merry Christmas to you both and thanks for providing some much needed entertainment in these trying times.
Jean, you shouldn’t be jealous! You’re a married–uh–well, sorta married now, whatever gender you think you are.
I think Jeanne is seriously poofed-off about not having the opportunity to tell Neil about everything. 🙂
Yup, exactly. It’s not sexual jealousy. it’s more, “I see I’m not going to be the center of attention here!” and Jeanie can’t tolerate not being center stage, regardless of context.
I think it’s more than Jean’s usual selfishness, I think it’s the “I can’t deal with this right now” culmination of total frustration. Jean’s been through a lot lately. Seeing Neil snuggling with Aracelli is just the icing on the cake. Especially since it implies he wasn’t missing her much.
@Pilgrim: Definitely something to that, yes. Although I don’t think it goes quite as far as caring whether or not Neil misses her–or at the very least, being able to admit that to herself.
Do we know how Jeanie was able to poof back and escape?
No we do not. Where’s the fun in that? Knowing Jean and given the nature of the setting I’m betting she agreed to stay mated to Guano for now hoping to buy enough time to figure out how to wriggle out of the deal.

I doubt you’re wrong. Aracelli has shown she wants to displace Jeanie as Neil’s genie. And frankly, she’s not wrong to do so. She wants a Master, and recognizes Neil as the best Master she’s ever met. In Aracelli’s eyes, Jeanie doesn’t deserve a Master she doesn’t respect.
Neil, quick, stick the cork in that bottle. Merry Christmas to all.
Do I notice the artistic style is slightly different?
Oh, why be jealous in principle. If the plot were a little different, maybe Gini could join the Neal. It just seemed like it would be better. What do you think ???
