Great artwork design on the demon fused dinosaur form really nice.
Well I guess that explains how Ridley keeps surviving all of Samus’s attempts at killing him….
In all seriousness, it looks like the artist copied Ridley’s design from Metroid for this unholy creature.
looked more like something from Alien vs. Predator, but i see your point.

Ridley was an influence but Ptarro was NOT a copy. As big as Ridley in influencing the look of the monster was some old plastic toy that Daniel owned. Daniel collected old toys, plastic dinosaurs and monsters especially. 🙂 And yes, Alien from those movies by Ridley(!) Scott also influenced the look. Daniel had fun with it.
