Chapter: Filler Arc 2: Fan Takeover
Wait, hold up… Quillian’s human form is male?!
Wait, hold up… Quillian’s human form is male?!
The pants wouldn’t want to walk outside like that first thing in the morning.
Thought balloons continue to come from Quillian’s backside while in human form. Well, I thought it was funny. 🙂
Didn’t see that coming, interesting twist.
given who’s sharing it?
Annnddd, you just had to go and f*ck it up with this trans woke BS. What was a great new ‘toon that I was looking forward to following just lost me. Probably drop Jeannie too. I’m done
so far there hasn’t been any trans woke bs
it’s just been standard genderbender stuff just like the whole Jeannie comic.
Unless the next page is the main character complaining about being actually female and hating how their regular body is male and how awful being male is and how oppressed they are because of that and so on and more, then it probably won’t have any “trans woke BS” and will just be basic genderbender.
Buh bye then. Don’t let the door hit you on your way out.
WTF are you even doing here, dude? Jeanie Bottle has always BEEN a trans-heavy comic… You do realize that Jeanie *and* Natalie are ex-men, right??
Aaaahh… trans and gender bender do overlap some, but they’re also pretty different genres. Just like traps and crossdressers are have notable overlap while being completely different things.
As far as shown; Niel does not see himself as a woman, no matter how often Jean turns him into one, even when stuck as one for long periods of time due to Jean being an ass or forgetful.
Jean can be argued, as she often forgets and acts distinctly female, but whenever the subject is brought up, is pretty consistent about still being mad she can’t be male again.
IE gender-bender, not trans, not ex-men.
If that’s what you were trying to push,… you failed.
You are so in the wrong place. How did you even get here?
It’s actually kind of odd to make accusations of wokeness, considering there’s kind of a history of objectifying women here. Also one of the common tropes of CD’s comics involves the TG’d characters having moments of having distinctly female inclinations or experiences (often against their will), which would probably be labeled as sexist by a woke advocate.
Also, I think Rakitytam makes a good point in that there is some overlap, but also distinction. I consider myself a straight man, as I’m sure quite a few people here do, yet I’ve been a fan of the gender-bender genre for years. That doesn’t make me trans, or even pro-trans in a political sense. I draw a distinction from the clear fiction (and also the definitive “unwillingness”) of the gender-bender genre from that of the real-world trans movement.
For the record, I was not following this current filler comic at all because I was not a fan of the subject matter. I just happened to catch the comment above while passing through, and I can’t help but comment on political subjects, especially when I see people just raging without putting thought into what they’re talking about.
I have been waiting to see the response to Quillian’s return to human (I followed this comic when it first came out years ago). I am disappointed, @SFCGator, that you choose to moan about ‘woke’ when that was not even a thing when they did this comic. Give it a rest.
I personally really enjoyed this comic in its first run. I was disappointed when it quit posting, and even more so when I found out the artist had died.
“even more so when I found out the artist had died.”
Well, that’s a hell of thing to drop.
Regarding the so-called woke thing, I don’t understand who treating and accepting people who are different in some way as, you know, people, is bad in some way. Beginning to hate that word, if I’m honest. It keeps getting used in the negative…
I mean, this is a story about literal, came-from-Hell demons. Complaining that a character is an abomination for genderbending is like complaining about a bank robber double-parking.
I think the reason you see the term woke used in negative contexts is that there are a lot of people who paint the narrative that you either are an unquestioning supporter every sexual lifestyle or ideology, or you are a genocidal fascist who wants to kill everyone not like you. It’s an extreme oversimplification of the matter. A person can be against homosexuality, for example, but still treat people of that inclination with decency. However, the folks who would be considered “woke” or “SJWs” tend to treat *any* level of disagreement with it as being the equivalent of a hate crime, which must be purged out of society.
That’s not to say there aren’t people who are hateful or such, but there’s a lot of people who are not, and who have well thought-out or argued reasons for their stances on certain woke issues, and they constantly get lumped in with those who are less thoughtful in their reasoning.
Maybe SFCGator needs to go to my Patreon and read Pete’s Vagina; it’s about a football player who wakes up one morning with the wrong equipment. 🙂
It’s probably woke in some fashion or maybe not. People do tell me it’s pretty funny. 🙂
But hey, dp you think SFCG has a sense of huor?
The tail doesn’t disappear, it just moves.
Also it still talks, it’s just a different form of never shutting up.
