Ooooooh dear.. I don’t even think I would wear that.. I think Nat is going to have fun with the clothes selection ‘she has brought’. Rog might drool a lot! seeing Nat in those clothes and Nat might never live this down. Either way very very nice work.
I wouldn’t wear it either….
Unless i were a hot girl with a great … assets.
Then, I’d go for it.
Roge is going to look great in that.
Funny, I actually had a similar thought. XD
So did I
I wonder if Natalie has any money so she can go shopping if she doesn’t like what Jeanie “packed” for her.
The lack of Rog trying to “share the bed” lends weight to the claim that he didn’t ask for a single-bed room. Cue the misunderstandings with the lingerie.
She was seriously stupid enough to let Jean pack her clothes?
She didn’t exactly have any choice, did she? Neil doesn’t own any girl clothes.
‘Neil’ really should have inventoried the suitcase before departure.
Jean wouldn’t show ‘him’ modest attire and then replace them, would she?
I would think ‘he’d’ have some spending money.
Buy a T-shirt as sleepwear.
What am I think inking?
There’s bound to be a T-shirt in one of the goodie bags.
Yup. She should have expected something like this, really its her own fault.
Isn’t that what the TSA agents used to ask?
“Did anyone beside yourself pack your luggage?”
So THAT’s why they ask you that!
Totally just read the last panel in Quagmire’s voice.
Lol, just did it in too. And it made the panel even more funnier.
Put it on Natalie! xD
Here’s where a comma makes all the difference.
Huge change in meaning between “Put it on Natalie!” and “Put it on, Natalie!”
Well, technically yes, but the end result is the same. So I think I’m going to give this one a pass.
Not as big a difference as, “Let’s eat Grandma” and “Let’s eat, Grandma”.
This is the point were Neillie is looking out the bathroom window to see what story the room is on, and is there a way out.
Or Rog was just willing to back down rather than pressure his new/first? girlfriend. Of course the misleading signals just keep going because NO girl I know would leave something like that lying around where guys could get ahold of it if she didn’t at least want him thinking about those things.
Natalie: “It’s a gag gift from my roommate. You can keep it because I’m never going to wear it.”
That’s not going to work when everything else in the suitcase turns out to be from Clandestine Victoria, too…
Did anyone else comically interpret that last panel as if HE was going to try it on?
I just thought of that. Wish Jean was there to make it easier for it to fit. 😉
I’m thinking this could get interesting if Jean does decide to “Poof” herself to Vegas. Maybe she already has. Who was reading that paper?
This is getting worse and worse… 🙂
Good work on changing the clothes in the suitcase Robert
although I’ve got to know did neko catch you and girlyfy you for doing it?
Hah, I wish I could take credit for that! But no, I would have put a sexy minidress in there, or maybe a bunnygirl costume. They are in Vegas, after all.
well we have only seen the 1st thing in the case
who knows what else Jeanie put in there
How do we know that Rodge isn’t planning something.
I think at this point it is essential we see Natalie wearing that.
I really hope we don’t, actually. For one, it is see-through, and I don’t think the comic has /quite/ gone to nudity yet (and here’s hoping that it never does). That stretches it away from ‘comedy’ into something much different.
For another, I think a lot of people want to see either “Neil and Jeannie” or “Neil and Araceli” as the canon couple. “Natalie and Rodge” just doesn’t quite work the same way. He’s not really been established enough as a ‘major character’ to allow for that sudden promotion to the center of the story over a longer term than an arc.
And, finally, it just doesn’t feel right to do that to Natalie.
Any webcomic artist who can’t put a character in sexy lingerie, while keeping things relatively PG, isn’t worth the photons in his light pen.
I certainly don’t want to see Natalie forced into it, or anything like that, but it would be fun if, thinking Rodge were out, she tried it on just to see….
Comedy + nudity = comedy; not really different at all. (Unless nudity is the focus, but that seems to depend on the audience more than the material.)
Araceli and Neil are already a couple, since she did seduce him and steal his virginity (albeit in Jean’s female body, thinking she’d have to steal him from her). And Jean already has a girlfriend. For shame, how could you forget that!
I’ll see of the how continue..
It might have been a good idea to check through the luggage before leaving.
I’ll go for a skimpy bikini myself.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this comic. Thank you for your time and effort. Please keep the story line yours with which ever path you decide to take it. I have reached a point where I look forward to reading it regularly. I am hooked.
So long as it’s Natalie putting it on and we don’t see Neil in it…
It would be funny if for some reason she put it on and then changed back and rodge walked in the room.
Rodge: Neil!? What are you doing in my girlfriends clothes!?
” Rodge, honey, I didn’t bring that for you….”
“…actually I did bring it for you. Go and try it on.”
I notice he says “alright…” (as in, OK, then…if that’s what she wants…) and not “Alright!” (as in, Oh yeah, it’s on, I’m gettin’ lucky tonight!)
He may be considering getting some kinky stuff of his own (this IS Las Vegas…they have stores for every…um…”taste”…even tasteless ones.
There is no word “alright,” nor one “Alright.” Common spelling challenge from grade school. It’s always two words: “All right!” (Dialect exception–if you are writing something other than standard English dialect, “awright” is permitted.)
In any case, the punctuation indicates meaning 3a, not meaning 3b in the synonymous “all right” definition: http://www.learnersdictionary.com/search/all right
Poor Natalie, we just found out Rog wasn’t going to force .her into anything, but Jean goes and does that
I’ve heard that women enjoy sex more than men do. Since the only real way to prove/disprove this is thru either magic or a brain transplant, IMO, Natalie/Neil should just go for it. (I know people might mention sex change operations, but I don’t think that would prove anything. A former man isn’t, IMO, really a woman, but a surgically altered man.)
Obviously, you nothing about the subject, they were always women, never a man.
In the old tv series Weird Science (based on the movie)
the boys experience being girls.
We see them as males but everyone else sees them as women.
In a nod to Quantum Leap their reflections show their female selves.
In one scene while looking in a mirror one of them raises his shirt.
He approved of what he saw in the mirror.
Back on topic now, Neil in the washroom has a similar opportunity.
Also, this will be Neil’s first time sleeping as a woman.
Remember that the first several times as Natalie, Neil didn’t have a bra. I can’t believe he didn’t check herself out at least once.
OK. Roger is an engineer. Engineers have no idea about women because no one has written the Operating Manual for them. (Freud wanted to but couldn’t figure out what goes in the text.)
OTOH, Natalie is an engineer. She never read the Operating Manual either, for the same reason. But now she has to function as one. Classic black box problem from engineering school. Is Neil smart enough to solve it before massive contretemps occur? And will hilarity ensue?
