Look What I Found on Vacation.
Hey all,
I know updates have been few and far between (especially on SailorSun.org). I spent last week (plus the weekend) at Comic-Con in San Diego. But that wasn’t all of my vacation.
The 2nd part was spending a couple days in the LA area. Today we were in Hollywood, seeing all the Hollywood sights. And we came across this, which I thought I’d share with ya all.
That’s right, Barbara Eden has a star on the Walk of Fame. Larry Hagman also has a star (on Vine St.), but we didn’t see it while on our short walk on the Walk of fame.
You know, Barbara Eden is actually going to be at the Salt Lake Comic Con.
…Too bad they’ve sold all their artist alley tables though. It would have been cool to see you there.
I’m afraid I have no idea who Barbara Eden is.
*looks her up*
Ohhhh okay. XD Wow, it’s amazing how different she looks now. Still gorgeous, but holy cow. You (or at least I) don’t really think about stars of old shows who are still alive, what they look like and what they’re doing, etc…. So that’s cool.
I hope you learnt something
There was a story, then there was a story about a story about the walk of fame…
In the SciFi story ‘The Weans’, our civilization has fallen, and the archeologists of what would have been the 40th century are trying to learn about it.
In the radio adaptation of that story, they are digging in ‘Holywoo’, where they discover what they believe to be the graves of the ancients, flat star shaped markers. They also find the golden statues of their god, Ozkar.
….
Oh. The other story. Along the same lines.
Some forgeiners who see the ‘Walk of Fame’ believe the actors are buried there.
