That’s a strategy that we hadn’t even considered, in the discussion about this page on Discord. Clever!
In the movie Weird Science the grandparents were frozen in stasis in a pantry. All Jeanie has to do is add “and guests” to the reservation and the room is theirs. Now, Mr. Garcia’s memory of what happened is going to have a giant hole in it (it’s only one night, though), but leave a pile of empty bottles in the suite and that’s what he’s going to think happened.
I’m wondering if Mr Garcia is going to be facing charges of, shall we say, “hooking up” with a couple of minors.
*Are* they minors? They could be high school seniors, which would make them likely to be 18.
was this a May prom, or a winter prom? Over half the seniors would still be 17 for a winter prom. For May, almost a quarter of my class was still 17 (the cut off where I grew up was Mid-August, so my younger brother (with no skipped grades) didn’t turn 18 until after he graduated, along with the other people who were born in June, July or August.
That is why I said “likely”. 🙂
If it was winter in Cincinnati, then they would have been wearing jackets outdoors, as that city is in snow country.
Age of consent in most states is 16, including Ohio.

Horribly wrong or Hilariously wrong?
Also, Jean and Natalie’s ages are kind of a squishy thing right now. One could argue that they are the same age as their teenage counterparts because they are in the same year as their teenage counterparts. Of course they’re both much older if you count lived experience, but if the law defines age as years from birth then they legally are teenagers–if you ignore the whole transformed time travelers thing. It’s often said that English doesn’t have the tenses for time travel, but it would also cause fits for the legal system.
They certainly appear to be acting like teenagers, which makes sense, since Jean’s magic tends to provide complete transformations–like the Greek fishermen, who became exactly what they appear to be–unless the rules of funny or drama requires otherwise–like Red and Agent Anderson. The fact that Red’s transformation appears purely physical may be a hint about other things going on in the Melvin Chronicles.

Jeanie always looks cute in uniform (Page 227, panel 2 in particular). That sequence may have been homage to the IDoJ episode in which she “joined” the Air Force to try and become Tony’s secretary ( G.I Jeannie, season 1, 16 Oct. 1965).

My guess is that Jean will get them jobs in the House Keeping service so she can get to see all the weird stuff guests are doing to each other and they’ll stay in the worker’s accommodation. Then she’ll give each room a genie’s touch.

Part of the reason to read the strip is to watch things go horribly (and hilariously) wrong.

That say a lot. My guess is, as long as Jeanie is playing desk clerk at the front desk. I am thinking that she going to sign Natalie and herself into the Presidential suit, like in Pretty Women. Like really go out in style here. That seam to be the way that Jean did things and the way Jeanie does things too. It would be good end to Jeanie shopping in the mall.
What kind of accent is Th’ang or did Mr. Garcia have one to many on the incoming flight?
I’m guessing Texas.

Holy hell, Wolfpac finally started? I remember when the website went up years ago. I thought it would never launch.
Sure did! CD’s been planning to make Wolfpac since before he even made SailorSun.org! So this has been a LONG time coming.

I doubt it, because at this point Jeanie appears to be a teenager.
She’s in uniform and working the front desk. A lot of young ladies look like teens. Make up. He will hit on her for sure. Since she’s a working girl he thinks she is of age.

The gallery plug-in we used on JeanieBottle was causing issues with the site upgrades. I had to shut it off for the site to work properly.
Well figure out an alternative for the gallery when we can.
