Also, weird question. If Blue Made this plant girl using hair of Jean and Neil, would’t she technically be their “child” or something?
Lilly was made with one of Jean’s hairs, so maybe, in a weird way she is an extension of her body too. And with Lilly having a weaker will than Jean and Blue combining (“I do what I am told”), Jean may be able to take some control of this “part” of her body and magic.
Well Jean better get his message through with Lilly, otherwise, Neil and Rodge are gonna to be the specials, and Jean will have to go through that ghost thing again, only this time forever.
You have to love how Lilly, even on Jean’s “trance” still have her mind set of eat. Also, I don’t know if this will end with either Jeanie taking over Lilly’s body, or just speaking through her, but if it’s the former… those this mean Jeanie will find herself kissing Rodge in the near future?
If the former happens, I think Jeanie will be scarred for life.

Ah, that’s probably my fault. Due to me being somewhat out of town this week, I asked CD to finish this comic earlier than usual. He rushed it (I had to do a decent amount of art editing on this page), and seems to have missed some details on Jeanie in those last few panels.
And with the image of her yelling the first thing that came to my mind was anime 🙂
At the time I was attempting to make a Chibi Jeanie yelling… but kind of gave up half way though.
I for one would like to see yelling chibi Jean.
Looks like eating him will be something that repeats on her.
This situation reminds me a little of the movie Always. Richard Drefuss’ character, Pete Sandich, is a ghost and is trying to convince Brad Johnson’s character, Ted Baker, to leave his girlfriend, Dorinda Durston (played by Holly Hunter) alone. Pete is ranting as they shelter in an old building and Ted isn’t hearing him, except that an old crazy man who is also in the building keeps repeating parts of his rant. Ted takes it as inspiration to back and seek out the woman he’s falling for.
Hah, cool. Brandon Sanderson did something similar in his Mistborn series of novels.
This is interesting. Jeanie can send messages through Lilly. The only question is how deep does it go and how far can she take it. Will she only be able to send messages or can she take control over Lilly or even take possession of her body even. Another problem that Jeanie going to have, is to keep Lilly from eating Rodge and Neil too.
The question is does the Blue Djinn know that Jeanie can or is doing this and can also surprise him in a most inopportune time and turn things around before the Blue Djinn can figure out what happened. This is what I am thinking is going to happen here. That Jeanie will end up being the surprise Hero here.
Of course, depending on what happens and people have already brought up the idea. Jeanie may have to kiss and do other things like that before this round is finished. Which will pull Jeanie further down the rabbit hole of becoming a girl and thinking like a girl and viewing herself as a girl. Well every one has to make sacrifices and Jeanie sacrifice may be to give up more of what use to be Jean and become of of what Jeanie is or is becoming.
Could she just get lilly to say something to warn them?
That seems to be the implication… But the question then becomes “How will Jeanie manage to screw up?” 🙂
Maybe just this once, she won’t.
