Jean AKA Jeannie AKA Jeanie is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through email, which means he doesn't have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie Bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie of the bottle should look like. Which, due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, turned him into a busty blonde woman.
A former Genie Lord, Kazom is a 3000+ year old Genie who exists in the form of a witch familiar while still serving as a genie to a teenage boy in California.
At least he’s having fun with the fact. That cat certaily seems to enjoy the idea of Guano dealing with her and honestly she may be the hard lesson he needs to learn to adjust his handling of new genies.
When we’d last seen Araceli (Strip 144), Neil had told her, “We’re just friends,” then she’d started to cry and had poofed away. If she changes her mind and poofs back in Strip 166, only to find Jean there, things could get Very Interesting.
Araceli seems to have become really attached to Neil just like Stockholm Syndrome and Lima Syndrome in which captors and captives become attached to each other.
“Araceli seems to have become really attached to Neil just like Stockholm Syndrome”
That has to do with a survival response to abusive captors. I think it’s just part of Araceli’s nature to fall in love with her masters. How much of that is due to genie programming, I can’t say, but Neil is far from abusive.
Jeanie, you…you…
You’ve just been told you’re going to be taught stuff you need to know to survive! How to avoid newbie pitfalls! The rules! Practice with your powers!
And you’re bailing?!
You dumb blonde, you!

I thought he was a dog.
“My Good Friend”, huh?
What happens to Ari?

You’d think she’d be more eager to learn how to turn herself into a man.
Yaa the train wreck in back on course to collide with neil and the crazy Jeanie.
FYI in panel 4 in the first text, there are two typos. “Gould” and “Mine” should be “Could” and “Mind”
Clearly there are “rivalries” within the genie hierarchy.
Jean is so short-sighted…

Anyone else notice Jeanie’s skin is a normal caucasian skin color now and not the green tint it had in the previous chapters
No, I hadn’t; thanks for calling it to our attention.
Her skin color in this comic in particular is nicely warm and attractive. I hope C.D. sticks with it.
Yeah, finally! That colour was so sickly and disgusting!
I can’t understand why anyone would want to be a man.
I can’t understand why anyone would want to be either.
I think he meant to say “Wouldn’t Mind”…unless he is expressing skepticism that Lord Guano will engage in digging in the earth for minerals?
Was it an error that Jean is colored like a human here?
Hahahaha.
I guess “Red” will be stuck as a girl now.
Ooh, good catch.
First Law of Gender Bending.
Isn’t that the one that says the gender bent person won’t change back?
Events will conspire to keep the person gender bent, yes.
I think it’s Mandy’s Law of…Gender Bending, I think? Check TV Tropes. (Warning: TV Tropes will ruin your life)
I know I read the site daily, its how I found this comic…
Aracei would have superpowers here on Earth if she was from Superman’s extinct native planet Krypton it’s in their DNA.
CD please keep making these you have a real gift for comedy.
Have to think this won’t be the last we see of “red” even if it’s a cameo.
That was a REALLY long day!
I think that Araceli is very pretty.
I believe that girls and women will eventually get so fed up with boys and men who give them nothing but heartbreak that they’ll reproduce themselves.
Jean will probably like that
