Reminds me a bit of Starbuck from the newer Battlestar Galactica, the face and hair mostly.
I’ve always felt that this sort of art was somehow “cheating.”
She seems to have an impressive superstructure here.
I once thought that, too. But I learned better after talking with a 3D animator about it.
You might think, “Oh, you just create the model once, then pose it however you want!” That’s not an accurate representation of the process at all. Not to mention that “create the model” is a LOT of work.
“Will” is it?
Looks a LOT like the work of AndyOH! who makes the brilliant CGI webcomic “Too Much Information”.
Poor Andy’s been in the hospital with severe eye problems for quite a long while, so his comic’s unavoidably halted.
I really hope he makes a full recovery someday soon.
