While this doesn’t relate to todays comic, I was thinking about Jeanie in Vegas. Wouldn’t she have problems with being in casinos with not being able to been seen on camera. Security would be all over her, since they wont see her on CCTV, and I don’t think I saw any places that didn’t have any when I was there.
At the wedding, Jeannie slipped a robot lookalike in place, slipped back in at the important moment—then Tony and Roger swiped the film from Dr. Bellows later just to be on the safe side.
First season, when Jeannie considered becoming a movie star and then discovered she doesn’t show up on film.
Then again, there was such a difference between what the show was in its first two seasons and in its last three, I’m amazed they remembered that fact for the final season.
I never understood this because there was another episode where Jeannie was supposed to be some sort of princess and she and Tony were caught in a hotel hallway by a photographer.
I can’t be certain, but I think the word “lonely” in the first panel is supposed to be “lowly.” Though, lonely may fit as Derick may have been lonely. Endora would consider him lowly and not really consider or care about lonely.
I had more in mind that he was an advertising exec, married to a witch, and didn’t want her helping him at all. (At least Tony Nelson was an *astronaut*…)
She is cute in that last panel. I wonder how the mother in low will react if after running into Jeannie she now has a daughter in law rather than a son . . .
Have to admit these mortal/immortal affairs rarely end well.
Grudge Match (Google it, it’s a fun site) did this match-up years ago with the conclusion Samantha would win. This was probably done with awareness that “Bewitched” came first.
However, in The Koran, djinn are ranked just below angels in terms of power. For that reason, I’d put my money on Jeannie.

Jeanie can’t be seen on camera? I don’t recall that tidbit.
It was a plot point in one episode. I don’t recall how that worked out.
At the wedding, Jeannie slipped a robot lookalike in place, slipped back in at the important moment—then Tony and Roger swiped the film from Dr. Bellows later just to be on the safe side.
It’s kinda distressing that I know that…

This is going to be interesting.
We’ll the bugs in the face are definite staple of Florida. Nice touch btw…
I had the same reaction when I first saw the comic. Bugs in the face are harder to see at this resolution, so nice job picking them up!
Love bugs in Florida are a definite problem.

Hmmm, that’s a good point. I’ll ask CD if that’s what he meant.
Actually, I always agreed with Endora. Durwood was a stiff—both of ’em.
They both had a good reason to be “stiff.” One had chronic back pain, and other spent a lot of time in the closet.
I had more in mind that he was an advertising exec, married to a witch, and didn’t want her helping him at all. (At least Tony Nelson was an *astronaut*…)
Strikeforce Morituri and it’s sequel Electric Undertow are in graphic novel form it’s great reading.
I love her eyes in that third panel. You’ve captured the essence of Samantha pretty well there.
Sounds like Samantha’s mom had a bad experience with a mortal man and now hates all male mortals.
she’s probably going to rope Derrick into a date with Jeannie
Or Natalie.
Or perhaps Doreen and Roger 🙂

>Witch v Genie
what is the question?
who would win in a fight?
which I would prefer to date?
What’s the difference.

If you look in a dictionary you would think were the word Mother in law is there is a picture of Agnes Moorhead 🙂
I miss Agnes Moorehead, she was a wonderful actress, my favorite role of hers was in a Twight Zone episode.
I thought I had seen all the Twilight Zone episodes. I hadn’t seen that one. Thanks 🙂
PS and for good reason 🙂
