Jeanie Bottle 623
Oh boy… Neil’s having a breakdown over Jeanie’s recklessness.
Can make 2 large burger patties or 4 smaller patties.
- 1 Lb Ground Beef
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 cup of maple syrup
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 4 Cheese slices
- 1 slice of bread worth of bread crumbs.
- Montreal Steak Spice
Mix all ingredients except cheese slices and Montreal steak spice in a bowl.
Take the mix and divide into how many patties you want. Once you have it divided, divide the patties again, fold up a slice of cheese for each burger you’re going to prepare and place it into a half patty and place the other half on top to make a full patty. Use the Montreal steak spice to season the outside of the patty.
Cook on either BBQ or Frying pan until cooked all the way through.
Serve on a toasted bun with whatever condiments you want.
Better a killjoy than a killeverybody.
Caution: the sugar in the syrup will burn easily, and this will affect the taste–not for the better. Will try again tomorrow.
I was shy of the syrup flavor, and used less than the recipe specified. Still too sweet for my taste, without adding noticeable maple flavor.
Be generous with the Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and Montreal. I am not a huge fan of salt, but for this recipe, it, too, is something you can be generous with.
Thumbs up on egg and panko. Holds the patty together very nicely, and the burger came out super juicy. (80/20 chuck.)
Withholding final judgment, pending adjustments and NOT BURNING THE BURGER.
I’m not including cheese until I think I’ve got the seasoning right.
Don’t toast your bun–fry it in the fat rendered out of the burger.
Just give it up Neil and enjoy your Kibble Burger as you are in the past now and it is too late to change that now. What it is not too late to do is have Lunch. So Eat and be merry for tomorrow the world may die.
