Jean AKA Jeannie AKA Jeanie is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through email, which means he doesn't have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie Bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie of the bottle should look like. Which, due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, turned him into a busty blonde woman.

Neil is Jean’s best friend. When Jean was turned into a genie, Neil became Jeanie’s master.
If you are tired enough it is like being drunk. Jean doesn’t seem like a night hawk so she probably can’t handle going with out sleep. Early to bed morning people are less equipped to handle no sleep. There are numerous reference for her going to bed early.
Maybe not. With all the new and old pressures building up to now, Jean could easily break down and fess up to her for better or for worse. It’s already pass the point to avoid making Belle feel humiliated or hurt.
In some of my past problems, I found that it’s better to come clean with others to fix or deal with them, rather than (pardon the pun) bottle it all up. Even if they’re going to get naturally mad/disappointed with me for it.
The truth will set you free, besides trying to keep all the lies strait is a taxing affair. Far better to not have to deal with all that B.S. and just tell the truth.
Even Jeanie not going to keep it together, but, it will be interesting to see how it turns out. Jeanie doesn’t have to disappear in front of Belle, but, Jeanie can walk into another room and disappear and then have Belle figure out what happened and maybe think she seeing thing, because things like this just don’t happen. Belle has one of those logical minds that will shut down when something like this happens and walk away in a fog.
Is Neil still considered Jeanie’s master, or would Belle become the new master by touching Jeanie’s bottle? (Did that sound dirty? Is there another way to say that?)

Being stuck as Natalie may last a long time, maybe close to a permanent state. If and when Belle finds out the whole truth her reaction should be interesting.

As someone who has worked the graveyard shift for the past 30 years I can handle going without sleep better than most.
you might find the Mythbusters’ comparison of the relative driving impairment of being drunk vs being extremely tired. It’s surprisingly similar!

Shutting down and ignoring the unexpected does not seem very logical. It does not even seem synonymous.
