I Dream of Natalie got lots of positive feedback last week, and we are happy to now bring you I Dream Of Natalie – Part 2! You can also click the comic image itself to be brought to the story.

Natalie summer where she became Natalie and left Neil behind no Jean just Zoey because she was his best friend now. Love this story.
Interesting … however, we know it’s not Zoey, that the most important reason why Jean disappeared was his shattered ego.

One correction – the Family affair lyrics are attributed to the wrong Family affair song. It’s from Mary Blige, not Sly. His Family Affair is a brilliant, but different song

I have been wondering about something since the timeline where Natalie became the genie of the bottle and had her form enhanced by Jean’s wishes.
If a genie’s features can be permanently enhanced by a wish….then is it possible for a genie to get pregnant from a human if another wish is made to allow it? I know genie’s can’t bare children from humans under normal circumstances, but seeing Genie-fied Natalie’s timeline made me wonder if would be possible if it was wished for?
I would personally guess not, because genies aren’t humans, and even their own magic can’t turn them into humans (iirc, even Kazom admitted that his cat form is effectively just a magical disguise).
There are ways around that if the wish doesn’t explicitly require the genie to be impregnated by the master — the genie becoming a surrogate, bearing a child fathered by the master, but with the remaining genetic material either obtained from a random woman, the master himself, etc. And if the master doesn’t word the wish to preclude it, the genie could become pregnant by a male djinn. But the genie would have to be savvy enough to be able to dig for the loopholes, which it doesn’t seem as if Natalie was observant enough to do.
Well based on the original sitcom that this story is allegedly inspired of, Djinns and humans can have children, as that is how our brave astronaut ended up in the end
Also it have been stated here that djinns can and have to a significant degrees been born, so that again means that female djinns can become pragnent
The story of Natalie becoming someone new is wonderful to hear the personal struggles That Natalie going through but unlike Jean there is no magic to help her.
Thank you. Everyone has struggles, and Natalie has had a lifetime of them dumped on her in just a few months… Estranged from her own family and watching her “twin’s” growing happiness with a girl he apparently never connected with, finding happiness herself and then having it crushed within a few weeks. It’s fortunate that she has a good friend.
