Conspiracy theories will now abound
If I was an “agent” and there was a little fire in my place, I’d be kind of pissed off if I went to the garage for the fire extinguisher and returned to find a bunch of idiots taking my stuff “for security reasons”.
“Frank, it was just a grease fire! I’m not dead!”
“Are you sure? You look odd. Peanut butter! Can opener! Osprey!”
“Son of a… Beer. Shady Rest. Go cart. HAPPY NOW?”
Agent Anderson’s at work now, and probably doesn’t even know about the fire, IIRC.
The fire is a candle flame with a genie pretending to be the flame while hiding. These are agents trying to ransack the apartment while pretending to be firefighters IMO.
They’re hunting for her laptop? Something tells me these aren’t your standard-model firefighters.
Why do I not trust these guys?
Also, candle-Vayne is just slightly adorable.
I wonder what the secret is.
By the way, have i said how much i love how both fillers have focused on Agent Anderson?
Yeah, it’s a fun coincidence that both are Anderson-focused. She’s definitely a fan-favorite.
We have some non-Anderson filler art in the queue, but I’m giving priority to the multi-page comics for now.

Will there be an “Agent Smith” character just so we can have a line like “Ay-gent Anderson. You don’t know what you’re dealing with.”
Why hidden? So that he is perfectly positioned to observe and then ambush the intruders, of course! Anderson would be pleased if he did detain these thieves (preferably without destroying the loot).
Living his life like a candle in the wind.
Never knowing who to claim to, when the rains set in.
It would be fun if these two stories were actually just one, with the two artists colluding to make them look separate until the big reveal.
Sadly, I’m afraid that is not to be. 🙁
But now I’m wondering what the “Big Reveal”© would be.
It’s like watching real TV, because you keep flipping back and forth between channels!
This could be it’s own comic I bet, probably not one with a direct plot. Just showing off random shenanigans these two get up to. Maybe a reoccurring villain could prompt a major plot like I’ve seen in some other web comics. I wish this would happen. *Realizes they don’t have a genie* (´･_･`) *Sighs*
