Jean AKA Jeannie AKA Jeanie is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through email, which means he doesn't have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie Bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie of the bottle should look like. Which, due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, turned him into a busty blonde woman.
A junior engineer working for a small engineering firm in Cocoa Beach. The firm focuses mostly on NASA projects.
Neil is Jean’s best friend. When Jean was turned into a genie, Neil became Jeanie’s master.
So, acording to the lore, the Bottle Genie instinct to serve tend to manifest itself with a motherly conduct. With so many kids in need at the center, is there any chance to see a motherly Jean?
Jeanie is a female Genie with a motherly spirit in her. She got that whether she wanted it or not when she first became a female Genie. There have been hints and indications that is alive and well in Jeanie, but, it has been squelched by Jeanie in the past for fear of losing her old identity of being a guy. But, with so many underprivileged children around, it might be possible that Jeanie might lose herself in trying to take care of all these children that she might even start to act like a motherly Genie that she is inside. But, once she cave in on something like this, it going to be hard for her to go back to her old self, because, that going to be increasing not who she is now.
Go to one of theses shelters sometime, Larry. I used to with Toysfortots. Most of it wasn’t good. You had a few who were genuinely appreciative, but most often you get faced down by those who are embarrased/resentful of being in a position to ask for charaity and it shows, or the type who sneer at your efforts/gifts and ask “is that all?”. Between the two groups, that makes up 90% on average. More if you go innercity.
There’s few better ways to crush any thought of being motherly than other peoples kids.
@Kattgirl: I wouldn’t be surprised either. Very appropriate for a Christmas story; Jean could use a reminder that the previous owner of her bottle suffered a lot more for a lot less. I’ve thought for a long time that Jean should reach a point where she at least tries to give her powers back to Rouyaa.
This will teach Jean to be grateful for what they have cause there are people who are not as lucky especialy the children who have it the ruffest this time of year.

How could we doubt that? There’s a whole web sight to tell people what a mother Jean is.
“site”, not “sight” (sigh)

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Jeanie & Neil run into Ms. Eden here, probably volunteering as well.
Oh yeah. I keep forgetting Ms. Eden is also a bottle genie.

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!
Welcome back, and see you soon, I hope.
Thank you, CD,and the same to you, (and Mrs Calabash) wherever you are.
I think Neal is going to be wearing a red suit and carrying a bag full of poofs.
> a bag full of poofs
I love this concept! 🙂
I suppose that would be an improvement to what they have to do a couple of years ago? It’s a matter of who you ask I guess.
