Well Araceli be with Jean and Neil as a two-genie situation or royal decree her to go back to Caley instead.
Honestly… can those 2 sit down and just talk like adults for 5 minutes? Surprisingly… I enjoyed seeing Jean / Jeannie be an adult and show some Empathy. Was a nice change of pace.

The April Fool’s Day header must be a depiction of Jeanie being photographed.
This was roughly what happened when Jeannie was photographed, except for the many times they forgot or ignored that rule.
Wonder how they deal with Photo I.D….
When you’re a genie, who needs ID?
Besides, I’m sure Jeannie could poof a fake ID into existence without any need for a camera. And probably update all the records in the database to match, without even requiring thinking about it.

Not quite. It was established at the New York party (where Jeanie was trying to seduce Rodge-as-Jean by disguising herself) that taking a picture of Jeanie causes extreme lens-flare that makes her impossible to identify in the photo. I believe something similar happened when teen-Jeanie and teen-Natalie were photographed with their dates to prom during the time travel arc.
Episode 1/16: “Get Me to Mecca on Time.” Jeannie’s powers are failing because it is “The Day of the Ram,” on which every genie and her master must make a pilgrimage to Mecca to repeat the “sacred words” or the genie will lose her powers and disappear forever.

She mentioned poofing back to her bottle to recharge. Which is likely why she hasn’t *left* her bottle yet. She’s probably still quite weak.

Probably forgotten that Neil is Natalie at the moment.
Has Araceli ever learned that Neil and Natalie are the same person? I don’t remember.
I had in mind Jeanie having forgotten, but, well, I don’t think Araceli knows either.
There’s a possibility that when Natalie returns home, Araceli will emerge from the bottle just in time to witness the return of Neil.
I look forward to seeing Araceli’s reaction to finding out. Since Natalie was officially “introduced” as being Rodge’s fiancee, Araceli may start wondering if Neil likes men.
I dunno; genies are natural shape-shifters, so being magically transformed might not faze her. On the other hand, Araceli IS kind of naive, so who knows.
I more meant the “fiancee” part—if Araceli thinks that Neil/Natalie actually wants to marry Rodge, not only will she get jealous, but she may also think that, if Neil is attracted to men, then a masculine-form Araceli might have a chance at seducing him.
During the “I Dream of my Old Bottle” arc, Kazom told Jeanie that she could change her core appearance with skill and practice, but she’s female forever. Araceli is older than Jeanie but not especially wiser or more experienced, and probably lacks any desire to change her appearance.
Nope, and Neil/Natalie has never bothered to wise her up.
Before this story, did Araceli even know Natalie existed?
And Natalie would have good reason not to reveal anything to her during this trip, since Neil wouldn’t want to risk the bystanders learning about his occasional feminizations.
Araceli first encountered Natalie in https://jeaniebottle.com/?comic=jeanie-bottle-288 The context (Natalie dropping by Rodge’s home in the middle of the night and sleeping over) would have screamed “Rodge’s girlfriend” to her.

I can’t wait to see Araceli’s face when someone mentions to her about how Jeanie and a group of genies had to return an entire city after it was accidentally poofed away.
Panel 4 .. who is saying the first line? Speech-balloon lines (I’m sure there’s a proper term for them) go to *both* Jeanie and the bottle/Araceli. Doesn’t seem something both would say simultaneously.
Also, what is the egg and doodle-statue(?) next to Araceli’s bottle. Can’t recall where, but I thought the doodle had showed up before, and become significant later.

It’s exactly what Araceli did to Jeanie on Page 280, while also threatening to make it permanent. Turnabout is fair play, I say.
Also, as Princess, Jeanie has the authority to get away with it unless Guano or Haji choose to overrule her.

What does “Wotch poster” mean in this context? I assume it’s a reference of some kind to The Wotch webcomic, but otherwise I’m in the dark.
That’s a Wotch poster in the background. It says Wotch Heroes and everything. It looks like Anne as Nightgirl.
There’s also a Pixy Ranger ship model. I hadn’t noticed it earlier, but it’s also very cool. I miss the Pix Ranger fan fiction. Is it back or is it gone for good?
The Pixie Ranger comic is still going on CD’s Patreon, but he hasn’t updated his Deviantart page with new strips from it in the past few months.

The problem I was having was that, not having looked closely at the backgrounds, I didn’t realize you were using the inanimate noun form of the word “poster”. So I thought you might be using the form of “poster” that means “one who posts things”. I thought you might be claiming you were a Wotch poster, which made little sense, so I asked.

That’s true – they ARE technically related now, though I don’t think Jeannie realizes that. And that may not change, as I don’t see any advantage for Araceli in mentioning it.

OK, good point. Ordinarily, I’d agree with you that that secret is blown, but this is Jeannie we’re talking about, and I’m not sure she listens to Araceli any more closely than she does Neil.
At least Araceli is already apparently recovering.
Starting from the left it looks like the Wotch Poster, Pixie Ranger Spaceship model, the Cork to Araceli’s bottle and the the little statuette that was first seen way back when we can’t get a good look at.
I’m still not sure what that statuette thing is, myself.
