Jean AKA Jeannie AKA Jeanie is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through email, which means he doesn't have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie Bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie of the bottle should look like. Which, due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, turned him into a busty blonde woman.
If a witch and a genie can do it, why not a group of genies?
There’s a canon example of two magic-wielding characters combining their power in the MC: Thomas Clark (Melvin’s Father) and Kazom link their magic to banish the Gorholtz Grimoire. (The Heir Apparent story arc.)
Telling someone to *not* think of anything is a sure-fire way to ensure that they do.
A more effective way might be to have Ifta think about putting everything back the way it was and use the magic circle to help guide and control her power.
Imagine the biggest jigsaw puzzle you ever did and multiply it a thousand times… put it back the way it was. There’s no way a human mind can do it… the real genies can though. Their magic works
That’s why I added *guide and control* her power. I doubt Ifta actually visualized the city before she made it vanish. In order to put it back she’ll need the others to assist.
“-to have Ifta think about putting everything back the way it was…
…and use the magic circle to help guide and control her power”
So… Ifta does everything, using the others as just a power source? That’s backwards. She can’t even use her own power and you want to multiply it up by three? She has no skill.. she literally can’t control her own magic. Even worse, human will power has been shown to dominate a genie’s magic…
The best thing to do is what is being presented. Use Ifta as a power source and nothing more. Leave the actual work to the real genies.
I didn’t suggest adding to her power; I suggested that they guide and control her power. Ifta would be driving, and Shula and company would be steering and controlling the throttle.
Using Ifta’s power bypasses the issue of it being difficult for genies to reverse each other’s magic. She provides the key, while they provide the control.
Cool genies combing their magic together.

With Jeanie involved I wonder how it will go wrong.
It will be hard for ifta to not think of anything
Ray Stantz: I couldn’t help it. It just popped in there.
Peter Venkman: [sternly] What? What just popped in there?
🙂
“I … I tried to think..”
Everyone returns suffering weird transformations.
After reflection given ifta was worried about them breathing plus all the water… I think they’ll return as merfolk under the sea.

What could *possibly* go wrong…?
“Ifta’s mind was not blank”
Miami suddenly looks like Egypt, complete with desert.
“Looks alright to me.”
What a cabal!
Hmm. The guys in “Plato’s Stepchildren” could never combine their powers.
Wonderful! An ST reference!
😉
They are going to end up on the island. Then the thing on the bottom will mess up everyone’s magic. It will go wrong.
I can’t help but notice each of them has their own specific color, cool.
I expected Shula’s aura to be rage red.
Loving this plan. I’m absolutely certain that nothing at all could possibly go wrong…
I wonder how many tries this is going to take to get the Miami they were in? XD
I get battle of God’s flashbacks.
Nicely put together. Loveit.
