In panel 4, that’s a remarkably candid admission from Shula. And a very sharp observation from Jeannie.
On the other hand, Jeannie’s look in the new banner isn’t the best. Elf or no elf.
Cute elf! And Jeannie’s idea is sure to result in some sort of shenanigans. 😀
I see that the other three all have matching armbands. In Panel 1, it kind of looks like Jeannie might have one, too, but I wish we had a better view of her left arm.

The color changed. On page 823, they were purple; now they’re definitely blue.

Unless the plan is to get the judge, court recorder, witnesses, jury, law reference works, stenography equipment and evidence all into the pit, it might be easier to get a lawyer out.
I’m guessing the answer is yes. It is a good idea given their circumstances. Now can they actually pull it off indefinately?

Unfortunately she walked into a bullet in a mortal body hence Kiran spending the past century in a bottle.
You’ve forgotten the number one rule of character death: Nobody is dead until you have a body, preferably decapitated. Ifta WILL return.
Unless there’s some plot reference that explains what became of Ifta in Kiran’s human body hence why Kiran was left in Ifta’s genie body and bottle for all that time, it wouldn’t be the worst idea to figure out that. If for closure at least for Kiran’s sake. They can time-travel with their powers after all.
You know, that raises an interesting question. Suppose Jeannie went back in time to just before being genie-fied, and preemptively bought the bottle and then restored it to Rouyaa, before returning to the present? Of course, it probably wouldn’t affect our time-traveling Jeannie, but it would leave Past-Jean and Past-Neil unaffected, so it would at least allow her to vicariously see what life would have been like sans the influence of the bottle.
Come to think of it, it would be kind of the JeanieBottle version of “It’s A Wonderful Life”. Maybe CD could do that as a Christmas special???
Based on what we saw in the “Wibbly Wobbly” episode, this would create a new timeline.

Jeanie’s expression “walk on water” could be just her using a familiar phrase (at least to her and his/her human upbringing). I suspect if the genies wanted to actually walk on water, they could.
Well, the guy I know who did was a guy, and maybe it doesn’t work for female Genies of whatever variety.

well that is not that difficult to make people think she is Ifta, she have her body, her magic and her mannerism. They are 95% there. If she can only convince herself that she is Ifta it will be a done deal
I wonder if we shall discover that she really is Ifta, I feel there has to be a twist for this character, like some secret we dont know yet.
Well, who saw Jeopardy tonight? If you did, you would know that the Final Jeopardy ‘question’ was “What is I Dream of Jeanie?”. The answer was asking about Jeanie’s bottle and what it was in real life before it was used as a prop on the show.
It was a special Christmas limited edition, Jim Beam whiskey bottle.

TV shows have a long history of using common things as unusual props. The “Saurian Brandy” bottle in Star Trek was a repurposed 1964 George Dickel Tennessee Sour Mash Whiskey bottle.
There’s a gal online who makes handmade reproductions of Jeannie’s bottle. So, for just $349.99 plus tax, you can have your own Jeannie bottle. The genie is just a tiny bit extra.

Got my Elf on The Shelf Banner. Very nice. I was going to ask Santa for 0ne inch or powder on Christmas eve and 70 degrees on the 26th. Instead, can I have an Elf like cd’s.
It’s a perfectly Jeanie style plan because it relies on using someone else for her own benefit.
