Jean AKA Jeannie AKA Jeanie is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through email, which means he doesn't have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie Bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie of the bottle should look like. Which, due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, turned him into a busty blonde woman.
A junior engineer working for a small engineering firm in Cocoa Beach. The firm focuses mostly on NASA projects.
Neil is Jean’s best friend. When Jean was turned into a genie, Neil became Jeanie’s master.
Yes, there is definitely a catfight coming in the not too distant future. I called is chick fight a few weeks ago. Thing are going to get really ugly and there going to be fur flying between these to girls too. Both Rita and Jeanie are stubborn girls with neither one is going yelled or turn away or back away from this fight. It going to be like two trains on the same track speeding at over 100 miles an hour and having a head on collision, it going to be one heck of a pile up too. That when we will find out that Rita a witch and this Cat fight, is between to magical being and not just a fight between two girls and it all happens at the Prom too. This is what I see happening here!
I think Jeanie has got herself roped into going to the Prom with the younger self Jean now wither she like or not. These memories, should start coming through to Jeanie now in a broken fashion, because, these are Jean memories that she is remembering from young Jean past. After the Cat fight, Jeanie and Rita are going to have to clean thing up and/or have an uneasy truce between themselves so they can salvage the time line that Jeanie remembers having in the past.
I don’t think there’s any way this arc will end with everything being exactly the same when older Neil/Natalie and older Jean return to their proper time. Just maybe younger Jean didn’t become quite the clueless jerk toward women and older Jean discovers she’s still getting work from that officially nameless men’s magazine which certainly isn’t Playpen because that’s from Sailormoon.org and that’s all over, done with, no crossovers, nope, not happening, not a chance.
That why I call this the Calvin time line. They will be able to reconstruct the time line somewhere close to what they remembered it being, but, it won’t be exactly the way that they remembered it, because, certain things were changed or altered from the original time line to the current time line that we are now seeing put into place right now. The younger Jean, he will still be a jerk and very little will with change for him. Between younger Jean deluding himself and older Jeanie using magic to hide stuff from him so she can maintain or restore the history or what she remembers happening in the past. But, since older self that now a female genie and she is outside the loop looking in, she will know the truth now that younger jean isn’t privy to now. That what I see happening here. This is a projection to where this thing is going or where it going to be ending up at.
Actually, in all four panel, Jeanie is giving us a female pose or acting like a girl. She being pulled or tugged through this thing by both Rita and her younger self Jean, but, it there.
I wish CD had squeezed at least a bit of Rita approaching in Panel 2. Rita just appears in Panel 3 as if she poofed in, with nothing to indicate how she could have heard what Jeanie said in Panel 2.
Well the main thing that allowed Jeanie to alter that fisherman’s mind was that he actually wished for it, but Jeanie perverted his wording, as genies are fond of doing. IIRC he said “I wish for you to make me a dutiful wife.” He obviously intended for Jeanie to be his dutiful wife, but they way he phrased it, it allowed her to interpret it differently and still fulfill the wish as stated, which left him (shall we say) screwed.
I doubt Jeanie will be able to mess with this girl’s mind without Jeanie revealing herself to her and getting her to make a wish that could be perverted.
Jeanie has *never* been required to have someone wish to use her magic. Ask the former Clarence Thornton over in The Melvin Chronicles, and remember Agent Anderson. That’s also the core premise of the TV show.
Not to quibble, but when did the horny fisherman become a wife? The last time we saw her, the little girl with the plush rabbit was chiding her for sleeping with every buff man she met–kind of like Jean with every attractive woman he could.
I think the things girls most feared as the prom approached were an acne attack, a bad hair day, and some kind of problem with the dress (maybe weight gain since the fitting). Jeanie has lots of options for Rita besides Chihuahua…
Well its time for Jean to become Prom Queen or Natalie for fun.
I got 1 thing to say: CATFIGHT!!!!!
Yes, there is definitely a catfight coming in the not too distant future. I called is chick fight a few weeks ago. What are odds Jeanie’s memory suddenly changes to going to the prom with a hot “scarey” blonde exchange student.
HAHAHAHAA.
I think Jeanie has got herself roped into going to the Prom with the younger self Jean now wither she like or not. So far, we have no reason to suspect something changed, or even MAY change.
Got to say i think Natalie’s cuter then Jeannie…
Jeanie’s been scowling lately. It doesn’t make her look cute at all.
What *I* want to see, though, is what they look like in the prom dresses I’m sure they’ll inevitably be wearing. hehe
Someone on the discord suggested that Natalie should somehow become Prom Queen, which would be hilarious and fun.
why would he ever want to go back to being that sexist jerk he better off being genie jean.
wonder if he’ll realize the memory of his prom is going with his new genie self.

There *is* crossover between SS.org and Jeanie Bottle. Remember, Melvin’s favorite actress is Honey Hart.
Though that’s not saying that SS.org and JB exist in the same universe.
Panel 2 is definitely a girly pose… Jeanie seems to be transitioning nicely.

I’m just digging the Slave Leia themed header now. Well done!
As a tribute to “Cheer” I wouldn’t mind seeing a header of Jeanie in Lita’s chain mail battle bikini complete with the Orc sword.
I just don’t like the scowl on her face. Reminds me too much to Blue, back when he took over Jeanie’s body.
That lines up the entertainment part of Prom Night.
Improv comedy?
I wish CD had squeezed at least a bit of Rita approaching in Panel 2. Rita just appears in Panel 3 as if she poofed in, with nothing to indicate how she could have heard what Jeanie said in Panel 2.
Oh dear. I just had a thought…
We’ve seen a fisherman who wanted a good wife turned into a good wife. That means that will & personality can be completely overwritten.
Like some person that totally has annoyed Jeannie can suddenly get an entirely new personality & look…
This also explains why “raising your neurotransmitters” worked so well. Jeannie’s intent was what mattered.

Not the exact quote, but close enough for Jeanie to interpret the way she wanted.

THOOOMMBB! The pearl hits the bottom of the Prell!

In panels 2, 3, and 4 young Jean looks like he might be having second thoughts about the hot blonde exchange girl.
High-school boys are hardly even affected by thoughts. Primary data processing is done south of the brain…
Stumbled across this gem about our favorite Genie’s TV show.
