The Blue Djinn is an evil genie who was apparently defeated by Lord Guano in the past. But now he's back, and he's angling to take down the Genie Lords... but how does Jeanie factor into his plans?
Jean AKA Jeannie AKA Jeanie is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through email, which means he doesn't have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie Bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie of the bottle should look like. Which, due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, turned him into a busty blonde woman.
Maybe it’s too heavy for Jeanie Bottle, but could Big Blue have placed his favorite daughter with Hitler as part of his scheme to rule over genies and mortals?
Yes, it wouldn’t be the first time that a parent put there evil desires above the interest of there children. That would also fit the comments that the other Genie’s have been making about eve and her totem along with her wayward was of doing things. Also the Blue Djinn knew that Eve had already died, but, he didn’t know about Rouyaa or whether she was alive or dead. Which means that he was imprisoned between when Eve died and Rouyaa became a mortal or soon afterward.
But, they had different Mothers, because, they are half sister. They both had the same father Rouyaa and Eve. The Harem thing, because Blue Djinn use to have Haji place in the pecking order of Genie’s and he had several wife’s too.
Rouyaa seams to me to be to smart to give away to location of the armlet like that. Ref. Holmes in the purloined letter. But the electric lamp could have bad results for Jeanie/blue.
The Purloined Letter is an Edgar Allen Poe story featuring a French detective, not Sherlock Holmes, and appeared in 1844, 42 years before A Study in Scarlett, the first Sherlock Holmes story. Arthur Conan Doyle wasn’t born until 1859, ten years after Poe died.
I would have never thought to have look in the lamp.
Of course Blue’s favorite daughter was the one who was an actual Nazi.

We know approximately when Big Blue was imprisoned, because Rouyaa and Guano discuss his recent defeat, during the flashback arc.
Hmmm. Bait?
That’s what I’m wondering. Blue here doesn’t seem to be very sophisticated.
If Guano actually outwitted the Blue Djinn, he doesn’t seem to be particularly smart. But he is powerful.
How powerful is Haji, then? Why doesn’t Haji himself take care of the Blue Djinn? Are the other genies just following his rules because of tradition?
Since we’ve never seen him or even heard a quote from him, is Haji even alive now?
@Tom Sewell – I’m pretty sure Guano’s unimaginative, not stupid. I mean, not terribly bright, but more hidebound and vindictive than dumb.
Bunny Jeanie
Ahh, you noticed! There also happens to be an alternate version, for those who like Jeanie’s blue color scheme:

I hope that isn’t moonshine in that bottle
Not gonna lie, it took me a minute to get what was significant about a lamp to a genie. I’m just gonna say it’s because I’m tired.
Yeah, tired, that’s the ticket.
wait, Rouyaa’s sister Evii is also the Blue Djinn’s daughter?
Well, strictly speaking Big Blue didn’t say that. He just called Evii her sister. But one daughter’s father is usually her sister’s father as well.
But, they had different Mothers, because, they are half sister. They both had the same father Rouyaa and Eve. The Harem thing, because Blue Djinn use to have Haji place in the pecking order of Genie’s and he had several wife’s too.
I’m really like the blue costume it really suits.
Who’s gonna pay for that lamp?
Rouyaa seams to me to be to smart to give away to location of the armlet like that. Ref. Holmes in the purloined letter. But the electric lamp could have bad results for Jeanie/blue.
Perhaps it’s a decoy armlet, and the real one is elsewhere?

I think he might be referring to A Scandal in Bohemia, but I’m not 100% sure. That’s the first Holmes story that comes to mind as appropriate.
I’m going to hope that smashing the lamp was what Ms. Eden wanted Blue to do.
Me too! I’m hoping it’s something the Blue Djinn will regret finding in there.
I stand corrected. It is indeed a Poe story.
