Jean AKA Jeannie AKA Jeanie is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through email, which means he doesn't have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie Bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie of the bottle should look like. Which, due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, turned him into a busty blonde woman.
A junior engineer working for a small engineering firm in Cocoa Beach. The firm focuses mostly on NASA projects.
Neil is Jean’s best friend. When Jean was turned into a genie, Neil became Jeanie’s master.
What are you talking about. Look at that “nose”. It looks ridiculous in every frame. Especially the second one. She looks like one of the dogpeople from Ducktales in that one, you know, the 3 brothers who always have prison numbers on their chests. The mouth is weird too, the way the upper lip goes SO much farther forward than the lower one, like she has the world’s largest overbite. Or a muzzle. Like the dogpeople.
Ding Dong Avon calling Jeanie, I think Jeanie finally get it. Finally Jeanie has the missing pieces to why her plan are not working. Now let us see how Jeanie going to mess things up now.
I got faith in Rodge, that he can thort or short out Jeanie grand plan.
I will admit to be around more-so for the story than the art, but here you have a style that is as cartoony as you want and doesn’t rely heavily on figure drawing (a suit that you struggle just a bit with). If you converted all the characters to this style…hell…it’d look amazing!
Jean still doesn’t get it. Even if Jean succeeds it will only prove that her fiancee sleeps around, which everybody knows. She has to go after a married man who does not have a reputation for sleeping around, preferably more than one.
First, Jean’s exceptions to the sleeping-around rules were “married or gay.”
Second, Jean’s goal is to prove that Jean’s behavior is normal and natural–that is, Jean as the man she was (tricky keeping the pronouns right, ain’t it?)
Of course, Jean is overlooking that she’s been female for quite some time. If Jean actually gets Rodge to “cheat” on her, I can see her getting angry because he’s cheating on her.
It just not coming to me that Jean will prove those women wrong, unless it’s all to show that other women will sleep around rather that Jean does still sleep around.
Honestly, Jean would be better off changing Rodge back into himself to seduce him as “Jeannie Bottle” or “she” seduce another woman’s boyfriend to show it to them.
I’d like to see a comic crossover with The Wotch. May as well, we’ve already seen EGScomics and a touch of Cheer. Misfile could be a good one. Considering the end of the Ranma 1/2 OVA series that little martial arts master Happosai might have made his way to Coco Beach.
How about Dangerously Chloe? It’s especially appropriate for this arc because the artist actually does do Archie comics. And since we already have genies and witches here, why not a succubus or three?
Those are interesting ideas, but, I wouldn’t do either one of those ideas right now, because, there is still other things that Jeanie can do and probably should do, before doing those thing.
Jeanie of the Bottle is kind of like I dream of Jeanie, it that if you advance her too far, you will end the series. Like when they married Jeanie off to Major Nelson, the series continued for another year, but, it was the beginning of the end for I dream of Jeanie.
There are still plenty of plot lines for Jeanie to follow, before doing those other things. But, if or when CD Rudd starts running out of plot lines, is the time to start using those ideas.
That sound about right, you having 2 or 3 plotlines ahead of us. Jeanie is kind of like a revolving door when it come to who she and what she thinks she is. She has two nature now, one that a selfish self-centered man and the other nature, which is a Gene with kind of a mother nature to her. We haven’t seen that part of her yet. In this plot line, you basically have Jeanie defending her manhood or what left of it, alias Rodge masquerading as her former self as Jean. In the next Plot line, if you wanted too, you could have Jeanie defending her womanhood for the same reason. She also has female nature and capabilities too. All it would take is to have someone come along and spike her in that area also, like those other women did that set Jeanie off in this Plot line and it off to the races.
Jean/Jeanie has a low self image of his or her self and is easily provoked to defending herself.
Was wondering if anyone noticed. This is the MONTH of the BUNNY GIRL! As every April is.
(There’s Bunny Girls on SailorSun.org too, as well as my DA has Bunnygirl x3)
The only holiday I know of in April is international Bunnies and Chocolate day. A day where bunnies leave chocolate eggs and chocolate flavored ‘bunny-selfies’ statues for all the good little boys and girls in the world.
Has anyone else noticed that lately Jean has been trying to get a man in the sack an awful lot? Is she actually turning into a girl on the inside? She was trying to get Neil to have sex with her – just to gauge how “good” he is at it? To know what kind of “competition”, what standard he has set, with her girlfriend? Sure. That’s going a BIT beyond curiosity of comparison, wouldn’t you say? And now this. Anyway I’m kind of tired of this character. Jean is kind of like Dan in Dan Vs., except without any characteristics that are endearing whatsoever, she’s just a nasty person who is unlikeable with no je ne sais quoi.
I like Jeannie much better as a redhead!
Me too! 🙂
Hanna Barbera’s animated Jeannie was a redhead with a magic ponytail.
Well Duh !
Jeanie finally gets it !!
She was not thinking straight from the start.
I have enjoyed this trip to Riverdale…
Looks like Jean’s gone to Mary Jane Watson, Peter Parker’s redheaded, red-hot girlfriend. It also looks like Rodge doesn’t read comics much.
Kind of disappointed in Rodge, though. Looks like he really isn’t getting the message that he needs to change his attitudes toward women.
Nope, Jean turned into Cheryl Blossom, another Archie character.
Maybe not, but he’s shown that he does have enough sense to avoid doing something that he thinks would upset Jeanie.
And with Cheryl Blossom, Jean finished the Riverdale girls trifecta.
Maybe she can go as the Predator next.
Jeannie’s moving up. This is the cutest form yet.

You could see if there are any other rooms available.
Panel one might be one of the cutest no cast girls CD has drawn.
I try! 🙂
I’d love it if you’d stick to this style!

Archie style is a little hard to draw, cause I don’t have much practice with it. But I’ll see about migrating over eventually.
Maybe I’ll get so good, I can get a job with Archie Comics and quit making webcomics. 😉
Jean still doesn’t get it. Even if Jean succeeds it will only prove that her fiancee sleeps around, which everybody knows. She has to go after a married man who does not have a reputation for sleeping around, preferably more than one.
I say no for two reasons.
First, Jean’s exceptions to the sleeping-around rules were “married or gay.”
Second, Jean’s goal is to prove that Jean’s behavior is normal and natural–that is, Jean as the man she was (tricky keeping the pronouns right, ain’t it?)

Poor Rodge. There’s just no way he can win.
It just not coming to me that Jean will prove those women wrong, unless it’s all to show that other women will sleep around rather that Jean does still sleep around.

Anyone else notice the new banner image? 🙂
I see bunny ears! Yay!
Was wondering if anyone noticed. This is the MONTH of the BUNNY GIRL! As every April is.

I thought it would have to do with the Easter weekend coming up.
East-er? What is this thing you talk of?

Thank God
Was beginning to think Jean was going to need a fricken CHART to figure this out 😛
Maybe Ed Verres can explain it to her. With a chart.
I had the same thought. Tedd’s dad can stop alien invasions with his charts.
So he hasn’t become upstanding and moral. He’s just scared Jean will turn him into a muskrat.
Yep. It’s such a relief to know that Rodge’s basic nature hasn’t changed – his fear simply overwhelmed his libido.
I do think he’d make a cute muskrat, though. 😉
I really adore the jeanie playboy bunny on the banner CD Rudd ❤️❤️
Thanks… I enjoyed making it (I did it while at work… Shhhh… don’t tell anyone :/ )
If brains were guns and plans bullets Jeanie’s would be casually holding hers ground-wards with the safety off and sandals on.
Once again we see Jeanie’s new sexuality fighting to free itself. I wonder how she’d feel if she actually went through with it?
If she wants to prove that Rodge/Jean sleeps around, why doesn’t Jeanie just poof over Natalie? Since we already know that Rodge has the hots for her…
That’s actually a *good* idea. Jeanie doesn’t have those.
8 years and still existing,,
Awesome comics !
Jean has no problem Kissing guys now. I wonder when this happened.

Your over thinking who Jeanie is:
She just a blond air head who get ticked off for little of no reason at all and then take a ridiculous position and then try to prove that she right.
I had a feeling that Cheryl Blossom was coming too… the references to Archie Comics are a really nice idea.
NOW he uses his head.
It’s nice to see Jean’s evil nature backfire on her every now and then.
