Jean AKA Jeannie AKA Jeanie is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through email, which means he doesn't have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie Bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie of the bottle should look like. Which, due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, turned him into a busty blonde woman.
A junior engineer working for a small engineering firm in Cocoa Beach. The firm focuses mostly on NASA projects.
Neil is Jean’s best friend. When Jean was turned into a genie, Neil became Jeanie’s master.
Yep notice the very FIRST thing she did after Jeanie went into her bottle was to cork it so she couldn’t get out. I really have come to dislike her and have lost the sympathy I had for her when she was first introduced.
I am thinking that Jeanie should stay in the bottle for maybe a day or so and then let her out to see if the sneezing has stopped. Of course, if we let her out right now, she could go back to sneezing again. Which could be a problem.
I’m so hoping that the poof being offcolor means that him changing back was due to Araceli, not from Jean being corked up, cause I’d love for the other changes she did to remain. Perhaps even showcasing later that she changed more than we saw, with some of them complaining about it. Like that one now-blond fbi agent. XD
I think it the same way with Genie’s too. But, a more powerful Genie or higher ranking Genie might be able to stop or reverse a lower ranking or less powerful Genie. In the TV series, A more powerful or higher ranking Genie could put another Genie and lock the bottle up so some human could not unlock the bottle, but another Genie could unlock that bottle.
But, generally, they either don’t or can’t undo another Genie magic.
Well, we have now established that genies can change mortals’ ages, since she turned him into a baby. So that raises the question, why wouldn’t the masters of genies tend to live for thousands of years too, since they can just have their genies regulate their ages? Effectively having her have him as her master is a life sentence.
That was smart of Neil to ask about Jean the instant he returned to normal.
Araceli’s cruisin’ for a bruisin’, as we used to say in grammar school.

And this is to a girl who she knows is scared of her bottle.
The implication I get is that the bottle had to be corked to reverse all the sneeze magic. Notice Neil only returns to normal after the cork goes in.
Araceli DID say, “Sealed in her bottle” earlier.
Hmmm, still don’t trust her.
Does this mean that *everything* that got poofed will go back to normal?
Seems likely. Jeanie’s clothes have revered to their less-sexy form, Neil got un-babied, etc.

Least Araceli kept her word.
Until the end of the storyline, obviously.

I thought that one Genie couldn’t undo what another did.
Not sure about in the comic but on TV it was a witch that couldn’t undo what another did.

Not quite breaking the 4th wall, but somewhat out of bounds in panel 2.
CDRudd does that pretty frequently. I like it!
The broken here emphasizes that Araceli is wearing heels for Neil–which Jean never does.
Has anybody though of giving Jeanie some antihistamine????
This is becoming a tale of two genies, hahahaaha
This is so awesome.
