Well, the hat is a dead giveaway, but this is a webcomic so…
I wonder if Jeanie even knows she’s always wearing it?

And we remember that Jean was once mail, and rather a sexist male at that.

As noted under the last strip, Jeanie’s still got her little red cap on. Neil’s gonna notice, and, angry that he’s already had to do it once (as he thinks) he’s gonna send her home again.
I thought Araceli was the character that used to be mail.
Nah, Araceli’s always been female, as far as we know. Jean was only male in the very first strip. Heck, the very first *panel* of the first strip.
I was making a joke based on 50srefugee’s typo. Perhaps looking at this strip might explain the joke.

Jean is as deep as a puddle.
She is wise as a ancient marble statue (she has rocks in her head).
Jean is a superficial as Trisha Paytas (small boobs are nice to).
And i hope CD doesn’t change her she is the prime mover of this story.
Her ridiculously, petty and stupid plans are comic gold.
I wonder if Charlie Sheer is Jean’s role model :J
I enjoyed his acting actually never did watch 2 and a half men after he was fired.
It’s little details like that that blow your cover…
I know a few women who’d not object to having that trick. Most of them would use it in reverse.
I’m starting to think that no one, in comic, can see the hat. Unless, of course, “rules of funny” apply. It seems to be there for us readers to lays recognize Jeanie.
lot of women are way too big. 2 in my family got reductions. Not being able to see your feet must suck if your in heels. Never mined the back pain.
My cousin got one, too. She was into gymnastics as a pre-teen, so when she “matured”, her oversized bust really hampered her ability as a gymnast. She’s apparently very happy with the results of her reduction.
That ain’t surprising. You can make a guy a woman, by force in Jean’s case, by that doesn’t necessarily mean that they’ll start thinking like one. Jean must uses “her” actual head sparingly while “her” now non-existent one the most, no doubt.
This kind of thinking is not always a guy thing. I have known women who do think more like a guy than some of the men I know.
Yeah, I apparently had to tried to un-brainwash/unlearn some beliefs that the male gaze had warped in regards to gender relations.
Kind of disappointed she didn’t blow on her thumb to inflate them :p
I am in agreement with Keep Calm, that the red hat on Jeanie head is for our eye only so that we know that it Jeanie and not somebody else that took Kendra place in the Janitors Closet.
Having said that, it look like Jeanie is getting ready to put the moves on Neil looking like Kendra, which Kendra has never done to Neil yet. We are going to have a really surprised Neil that won’t know what to think and will be really beside himself of what to do about this mater.
After Jeanie put the move on Neil, I see someone finding the real Kendra in the Janitors closet. Which will cause another problem of having two Kendra and have one caught in the middle of sending an illegal email.
After that, I don’t know what going to happen. But, that what look like is getting ready to happen to me. But, that just my opinion.
Really Jeanie, you think someone besides Neil isn’t going to notice that Kendra just grew a few sizes? XD
Yes, but being an engineer, Neil knows that thanks to cutting-edge technologies like Kleenex, a girl doesn’t have to be a genie (or even a girl) to increase her apparent bust size quickly. EXAMPLE
I think the hat is for the reader’s convince, and the characters won’t notice unless it is expressly mentioned. I’m sure there’s a trope for that.
It’s the Clark Kent effect. No one notices he looks something like Superman except for the glasses.
I did like the bit in the new justice league movie where he takes wonderowoman on a date and shows her the might disguise of wearing glasses to her amazement it works.
Seriously? If he’s really got the hots for her, don’t you think he’s going to notice details like that?
It’s possible he will notice it *because* she has the hots for him. He is already on the look out for Jeanie in disguise.
The funny thing here isn’t that Jean is sexist and believe bigger boobs are better than smaller boobs. The fact that Jean did not _feel_ right without bigger boobs is _much_ more interesting. “That’s better” could mean “he” didn’t feel right being flat chested. Has he gotten so use to having them that he missed his boobs?
The boob thing is basically a girl thing. So Jeanie is acting more like a girl than a guy with those bigger boobs. Because, she is self conscious about her appearance and how she looks.
Hard to tell if is Jean’s sexism or is it she doesn’t feel right with out them.
She is packing quite a pair in she normal body.
Not clear to me that Jeanie didn’t feel “right” with bee bites; she has a specific goal in mind, and thinks larger bOObs will work better to that goal. And she likely thinks that because Jean liked them.
