Jean AKA Jeannie AKA Jeanie is a film, book, and magazine reviewer for a national magazine. Most of Jean’s work is done through email, which means he doesn't have to go into the office.
On a trip to find a gift for his girlfriend, Jean found an empty Genie Bottle. Upon picking up this bottle, Jean became the bottle’s new genie-powered occupant. Not only was Jean turned into a genie, but the bottle turned him into what he believed a genie of the bottle should look like. Which, due to his fascination with a classic 60s TV show, turned him into a busty blonde woman.
A junior engineer working for a small engineering firm in Cocoa Beach. The firm focuses mostly on NASA projects.
Neil is Jean’s best friend. When Jean was turned into a genie, Neil became Jeanie’s master.
I’d volunteer for a genie who did that and I know people who’d do the same, also motivation for Roger and I wonder if Natalie is more surprised by the change or having her name called out like that. I’m guessing the former since she’s apparently still in Jeans and a tshirt (hopefully appropriate underwear too)
Blonde guy seems a little disturbed for a man who has a cute girl pressing up against him and yay now we know Jeanies job I was wondering what she did.
Finally are those post workers merely here as an introduction or is this the start of the misaddressed package.
Oh and congratulations to the reviewer of the previous strip who seems to know how our author thinks.
Also after Jean mentions mind reading it looks like the blond guy is reading her thought bubbles. :O I wonder if she’s broad casting her thoughts to him by mistake.
I’m not sure, but the original Jeannie in the TV series could make herself very small to hide behind table lamps or potted plants, but I don’t think she ever made herself invisible. Might be a limitation of her powers.
Actually, given a couple of previous comics, it seems that Neil doesn’t notice the change until something calls his (her) attention to it. _Vide_ the recent one where he’s just gotten on a bus–and then she is in a restaurant: No reaction until Roger compliments her on her looks. In this one, the “?!” is from Roger’s sudden shout of “Natalie!”
Okay. Screw how Jean has been screwed. She needs to be given a big fat helping of humble pie. And the sooner the better. She’s the kind who wouldn’t hesitate to throw her friends under a bus to save herself.
OK, that’s _exactly_ what I was thinking before I started reading these comments–that if Jean weren’t a djinn and needed a distraction, he’d push Neil into traffic…bus, beer truck, whatever. But I’m sure that our artist is thinking up a few things to happen to Jean(ie); remember the whole Melvin episode, a lot of which didn’t go too well for Jeanie, eh?
I say YEA!!! Jean can be my Jeanie anytime. I think its utterly hysterical how self centered and unsympathetic she is. Even though she has been Changed, she doesn’t even take a second to concern herself with other people’s change. LOVED the whole nerd girl thing too, she completely forgot to turn the nerd back even after being asked point blank.
Seriously Jean needs a penalty box for doing that. Double time for no warning.

Beltboy, loves Titanium Maiden.
Mean while she’s clinging to a guy 😛

Yes, he’s probably wondering “why is this strange girl grabbing onto me?”
Using magic in a post office for disguise or deception, I believe is a federal offence.
Jean got to your bottle for a time out after you change Neil back.
I read, I laughed, I snarfed, and I nearly peed myself again.
CD, you are a RIOT!!! And thanks for a double-dose this round, now have a beer and some chips and a nap, you earned it!
Yay for more of Natalie! I’m always happy to see TG’d Neil!
I’m always happy to see anybody TG’d. 😛
Same here
I am also happy to see people getting TG’d as well the above comment of being happy with a genie who was constantly turning me into a girl.
Ever think of invisibility, Jean?
Good thinking, but somehow I just don’t see Jean as invisible woman.

Here I was waiting to see Araceli come popping out at the wrong time and the only one popping was poor Neil. 😛
I dunno. Roger may be popping one…
Secretly this story is about Jeanie creating true love.
Jean(nie) is such a jerk…
Does Jeannie remember ‘Natalie’s’ bra size?
It seems a little larger this time around.
Also..
?! Has no bubble.
Nah, they’re just bouncing up because Natalie jumped about a foot…

Why not have something happen that puts Genie in a bad mood and she uses her magic to change everyone’s gender.

And let’s not forget those Greek fishermen! 😀
You should have changed Neil clothes to CD! You robbed us of a sexy Natalie panel! D:
I certainly hope neil get’s arcelli soon. The back and forth between the two Genies would be great. Not to mention the Genie rules on such issues XD
