A junior engineer working for a small engineering firm in Cocoa Beach. The firm focuses mostly on NASA projects.
Neil is Jean’s best friend. When Jean was turned into a genie, Neil became Jeanie’s master.
Seem to recall that djinn were of muslim derivation, which would make pork “unclean”, so only safe meats would be 100% mutton or fowl, explaining her violent reaction…
Just a suggestion, but lime-green buns combined with dark pink hot dogs don’t really work for a visual appearance. The meat should be a lighter shade of pink, and the buns should be some shade of brown.
So I guess this means that she is a vegetarian.
*OR* doesn’t like to think about poor puppy-dogs being killed for his bread-lined meal.
Seems so. Poor Araceli, she doesn’t know this is a time when being a vegetarian is perfectly ok.
DANGET! And she was almost perfect too.
Oh well. I guess she was bound to have a tragic flaw at some point. It’s just too bad it’s that one.
You mean you would be ok with her using her magic to torture you for something you never did? Like trapping little people in a box?
I prefer Jean’s method of ‘torture’ better. :p
Huh, the latest comic seems to be showing up as a broken image…
Yup, no image when I view the page.
No idea why it’s not working. What browser (and ver are you using).
In Opera 11.60, it’s showing up double.
Aw, poor Araceli.
Love the whole “And I love your dogs” bit. XD
Was planning on going else where, but decided to make it more PC.
Um, the first line (four panels) is appearing twice.
Before you ask, I’m using Firefox 3.6.22. But it does the same thing in IE 9.
I’m using IE9 and there’s no problem.
Now the double-strip problem is fixed.

I believe djinn were part of arabic culture long before someone named Muhammad introduced Islam to the world

I think much of the coloring is a bit off. Araceli should be green not Neil.
