Here we have an absolutely breathtaking piece of art that Hachimitsu made for me. Natalie is lounging on a couch in downtown Amsterdam, rocking a mind-blowing minidress. Hachi told me that he colored her dress specifically to evoke a jade statue, and I think he succeeded wonderfully.
Why is she there, in that dress? Well, perhaps she’s on a hot date with a certain engineer…

A true masterpiece. Araceli is Caley genie will we ever find about what her 3 wishes were cause we knew she waiting for Nate right now but it has made me wonder for a few years years cause Araceli stays with Caley so will those wishes be revealed?
Is it just me, or does Natalie seem to get hotter and sexier looking with every new appearance in the comic?
Even if this is just filler, it seems to prove a point.
If Natalie and Rodge don’t manage to end up in bed together by the end of this comics run I will be very surprised…
Hah, while I would certainly like to see that, I am not sure CD Rudd is interested in taking the comic in that direction. But I’ve got my fingers crossed! 🙂
And speaking of her being hotter and sexier with each new appearance, there will be another such appearance in the relatively near future… 😉
I mean, I also have my doubts the comic will ever take that directions, but can you blame us to hope so? Natalie is not only best girl in a comic full of great girls, but somehow, her relationship with Rodge is kind of the most appealing one if you stop to think about it.
Two friends from work, get on a blind date (lets ignore the details as to how for now), keep dating for some time, Rodge improve as a person during that time thanks to his relationship with Natalie (better employee, more motivated, an actually, once the Vegas arc ended, he even starting being a better friend), after their big date didn’t go well Rodge tries to move on, but Natalie is still the girl of his dreams, and destiny keeps brining them together over and over again! It’s a very developed relationship between this two, is just that it seem cursed to not conclude with them together… for kind of obvious reasons, but still, I also have my fingers crossed!
Also, with this amazing work of Hach, I think I will have to step up my game in regards Natalie fan art!
We may see Natalie show up a few more time to spice thing up and such, but, her days are numbered. Remember the title of this series which is: “JEANIE BOTTLE”. Which is Jeanie and Neil in the end. Everything else including Rodge affair with Natalie is just a side show and nothing more. But, I will say that it is interesting to see and it might be nice to see some more of it too, but, it going to be winding down in the not to distant future, especially if the Jeanie and Neil romance starts up. I think I see a move in that direction, so that means the end to Natalie in the near future, when ever that is.
Who knows what will happen in the future, for all we know the story might end with Natalie pregnant with Rodge’s child (or if not in the comic, in fanart filler)
True its not very likely to happen, but still anything is possible.
Yes the series is called Jeanie Bottle. But based on how many times the story has switched gears Jeanie might end up in the Haji’s harem by the end. And especially with the new genie lord that’s been introduced and since Guano will be taking Haji’s place.
I still think back to when Rodge was trying to hide Nat from ” the fed” If he had decided it would have been safer to bring her back to his place instead of hers. The outcome would have been very much different, for them, without Jeannie’s interference.

I also keep hoping Jean gets back together with Belle, she clearly still cares about Belle.
And yeah, Natalie and Rodge would be perfect together.
@Jake – I don’t really like the Natalie/Rodge ‘ship (as it likely means either a massive shift in Neil’s mental state or the creation of a new being, per Ellen of El Goonish Shive, that possesses little in the way of an anchor within the world), but I do agree with the Jean/Belle pairing. Unfortunately for us, Jean is still clinging to the hope that she can become male again, which is part of why she’s not told Belle about her current situation. If she just out and told Belle “I’m still mostly me, but this is just how our lives are now”, I imagine they could find a way to make it work. Granted, I could be dead wrong (they both have serious trust issues, among other problems), but I’d like to believe it could work with them.
I love it when people take an illogical approach to thing even in the fantasy world even.
1. Jean is stuck being Jeanie and so Belie out of the picture for being Belie boyfriend. I suppose that Jeanie could blink Belie into being a Guy and then Belie could be Jeanie boyfriend, but, Neil would be a better choice for that.
2. There no indication that Neil want to be Natalie full time. Yes, he take it in stride and such, but, it hasn’t gone far enough for that to happen. Besides, what are you going to do with Jeanie, she still needs her Master.
There isn’t anyway to clean this stuff up at the end of the series. It will be Jeanie marries Neil and they live happily ever after and Belie and Rodge will go on about there business. End of Jeanie Bottle series.
@Larry – Actually, I think the ending might be more of Neil enduring Jeanie’s mood swings until old age sets in. Remember, in panel 1 of page 78 Lord Guano said… “Very well, you may serve this master for the remainder of his days.” Alternately… does Natalie count as a master?
@Larry: I think you’re taking all this way too seriously. What’s the point of ruining people’s fun speculating things that probably won’t ever go anywhere?
