I’ve been sick for the past week plus. I barely got out comics this past week. And I couldn’t get JeanieBottle finished up this week. I’ll try to complete it this Friday or Saturday and It will go up as soon as it’s done.
Rest up, heal up, catch up.
Now, I wouldn’t mind a rough blue line w/dialogue, just to find out what by golly happens next, but take care of yourself first.
CD draws entirely digitally, so he doesn’t really have “roughs”.
None of us would begrudge you for a lack of updates. You’re about hit number 300 of a fantastic series, and we all love you. Hope you get better soon.
The guys in the newspapers go six weeks ahead for dailies, eight for Sundays—but sacrifice any sense of spontaniety or ability to react quickly. Doing too much of a buffer for an online comic like this might take away some charm.
Get well. It hasn’t been that long, and I’ll still be coming here for quite a while yet.
I’m sorry you’ve been sick but I hope you get better soon. I spent the last 2 days reading from start to finish. I don’t know how often you post but I am in love with it.
There’s generally one page per week, usually posted on Tuesday. Sometimes CD will do an additional comic on Thursday, but those are few and far between.
You just get yourself better, we can wait

I’ve had flu that lasted a full 5 days. It’s really awful.
I think I would be sick now than in the summer. take care lot of vitamin C. Lots of water. Add some Tonic water the Quinine couldn’t hurt.
Get better soon, I can wait.
My medical issues held up work on the last “Eerie Saloon” story by a good year, and they’re impacting the one I’m working on now — though not as much. You’re good; take the time you need. Your fans — including me — WANT you to get well. We’re not happy about the delay, but the unhappiness is that you’re unwell and can’t do the work.
